Those two concerts had a different equipment to both 'Game/Flash' and
'Hot Space' tours so it's better to make a separate section for them.

During Keep Yourself Alive Freddie played a New Era

Bass guitars
Fender Precision '68 model for most of the concert, except for
Under Pressure (Fender Precision Special) and the first
encore (Musicman Stingray). Back-up was a Kramer Custom DMZ.

Guitars
Brian used the Red Special, an Ovation 12 string acoustic
for Love Of My Life and CLTCL (Freddie used his own
Ovation in CLTCL too) and a Fender Telecaster also
for CLTCL. On the right photo you can see the Birch replica
that served as back-up.

Piano
Freddie's Steinway D concert grand, used also by Brian. It
seems they didn't use any synths, there's no Oberheim OBX in sight.
They did have a Jupiter 8 for the soundcheck but that was it.

John Deacon (1982): "Just last year I met some of the people from
the Fender factory in Los Angeles. They actually gave me one. When you're
struggling and can't afford one... but when you're successful, they give
you one. It's quite nice; a Fender Precision Special. The old ones just
have volume and tone. Now they have three knobs: volume, bass and treble.
That's quite nice. I used that guitar on Under Pressure."
