| inu-liger 19.03.2005 21:14 |
I think he looks like Robert Plant on a bad day |
| wstüssyb 19.03.2005 21:59 |
didnt I say Roger needed to lose 50 pounds in the upcoming tour Really, age has not been kind to him, Paul on the other hand has aged nicely. |
| 7Innuendo7 19.03.2005 22:02 |
just doesn't matter. the hair's not green! :P |
| Deacons 1st Choice 20.03.2005 00:52 |
Alas poor mate Roger.. The years of over-consumption of booze and cigerettes have not been kindly to him.... ( hangs head in sorrow) |
| deleted user 20.03.2005 05:47 |
He really has gained the waight hasnt he? he really does look awful, poor Roger, lose the weight and QUICK! |
| Nationofhaircuts 20.03.2005 05:50 |

| The Stealer 20.03.2005 08:18 |
I think he's going for the salty sailor look! ;-) May be it's the baggy shirt?? His legs look thin in the rehersal pic. Still love him..ALL of him! |

| jeff payne 1680 20.03.2005 14:15 |
I don't think he looked too bad for a 57 year old whos been drumming like he's 15 years younger needs a haircut and a bleach though |
| 3137prof 20.03.2005 19:05 |
At least he hasn't lost his hair like John has. I am sure though that by the end of the tour he will have lost a couple of stone, just in time for the Hyde Park concert to be filmed. |
| doremi 20.03.2005 19:15 |
Roger has looked pretty bad for some years now, mostly weight gain and just aging very rapidly. He's not that old folks. Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart (and Rod has had cancer too), have as much as 5-10 years more on him and are older in age than Roger, and they still regularly tour worldwide (which supposedly is not great for one's health) but they all look great. What happened? Roger has been enjoying the healthier family life off of the road all of these years, yet he looks terrible. He was so handsome too when he was young. Shame. |
| LiveAidQueen 20.03.2005 19:31 |
That's disgusting! |

You are all strange sometimes...Roger has 57 years. What do you expecting about his look like? You should be happy that he still rocking:) sorry for my poor english peace |
| Mr. Teatime 20.03.2005 19:56 |
His drums sounded great. If he keeps that up, who cares what he looks like. The other older rockers would look like that if they hadn't had plastic surgery, so respect him for not doing that. If he's ill, then it's a different story. |
| inu-liger 20.03.2005 20:08 |
He might be suffering a cold, that's why. |
| 1quen_fan 20.03.2005 20:52 |
yeah Roger does look kinda... I can't explain it! |
| legends never die! 21.03.2005 04:15 |
there was another picture from a newspaper but i couldnt find it on the net where he really looks old well i guess we all grow old but if he bleaches his hair, loses weight, gets some botox, face lift, liposuction, tummy tuck, anti wrinkle cream hell look good as new! lol only jokin - his still the best drummer despite his looks |
| jasen101 21.03.2005 04:23 |
to all you stupid bunch of gits getting on roger's case ...fuck off! He looks great. |
| GreatKingSam 21.03.2005 06:00 |
didn't Brian say recently that Rog was suffering from the flu or a bad cold? Anyway, didn't most of you see Bri and Rog appear on Peter Kay's Comic Relief video? They looked as healthy as I've ever seen them, and especially in proportion to their age - they look as good as ever. Brian looks very healthy, as most of the time, and Rog to me looked especially good. His long blonde hair and all. |
| Benn 21.03.2005 06:42 |
Roger isn't a well chap - the twitch that was so noticeable on the Bo Rhap documentary is evidence fo something more sinister I believe, but there you go. He's out there playing and I would imagine that he wouldn't have agreed to tour unless he was confident of being healthy enough to complete the tour. Give him a while to get back into it - remember he hasn't toured as a drummer for nine years, so the physical side of things is goiung to hurt him for a while. Just think what he'll look like after a 2.5 hour show...... |

jasen101 wrote: to all you stupid bunch of gits getting on roger's case ...fuck off! He looks great. He doesn't look great, really, but I think theres nothing you can do about the ageing process - It happens, get over it! ;-P |
| Carina 21.03.2005 11:38 |
Roger is a handsome man. |
| great king rat 1138 21.03.2005 11:58 |
I'm just worried that unless he sorts himself out pretty quick, he'll have a heart attack in the middle of one of these supposed 2.5 hour sets! I don't particularly like the guy - he always seems to come accross as horrendously arrogant - but I don't want him dying on stage! |
| The Stealer 21.03.2005 13:17 |
Great King--what a terrible thought but a valid concern. Brian's recent report posted to his site indicated that it was really hot in SA- perhaps that had something to do with it. |
| Lady Cool Cat 21.03.2005 15:29 |
ChinesedogTorture: i know our Rodgie is aging, that is perfectly normal. Everyone grows old, gains some weight, and have wrinkles appear on their skin. But some of the things you guys said are simply nasty! LiveAidQueen: ''that´s disgusting!´´ Matthew Poulter: '' fuck in hell, he looks bad!´´ that is not the kind of thing you tell people. imagine if Roger happened to read these comments? needless to say, he would be tremendously upset. so please, dont say these things. it can be very hurtful. would you guys ever tell someone who is aging that they are disgusting? would you ever tell them they look fucking bad? |
| ANAGRAMER 21.03.2005 15:43 |
Roger looks fine for a man of his age. I would hate to think what you lot would have said about Fred Leave off!! |
| kohuept 21.03.2005 16:29 |
It looks like he HAS lost some weight. I just think he needs a long nap and a haircut. He should be good to go after that. |
| newcastle 86! 16483 21.03.2005 18:12 |
he lookes really good in the peter kay video, my god i never ever thought id be sitting here saying "roger taylor looks terribe!" |
| bassist08 21.03.2005 18:16 |
Hey it happens. To bad, though, he looks fine to me it could be worse. Brian looks well however. |
| Lady Cool Cat 21.03.2005 18:34 |
I think he is the best drummer in the world, and as long as he keeps this position, it doesn't matter how he looks. Besides, it's not that bad at all. They took a wrong angle is all. |
| Ander Vørschört 21.03.2005 21:20 |
Look at Brian, he looks amazingly similar to what he looked like in the late '70s! |
| legends never die! 22.03.2005 04:36 |
its true... how does brian still look quite young? and bout roger... maybe he isnt well or maybe hes just feeling the strain but lets hope hes gonna be ok, cos if he cant make it on tour then i think personally they can forget about a comeback tour |
| Harpo_the_taylorette 22.03.2005 13:42 |
kohuept wrote: I just think he needs a long nap and a haircut. He should be good to go after that.Noo! He looks lovely with his long snowy locks! I think he still looks attractive, obviously not to the extent that he was when he was younger, but that's to be expected. I know many people even younger than him who look alot worse for their age. I know I'd still give him one ;) |
| kohuept 22.03.2005 14:31 |
ok-ok, Maybe just a good brushing will help. I stick by the nap idea, though. |
| jeff payne 1680 26.03.2005 16:03 |
anyone seen the pic a few hours before the sweat and the heat got to him. he looks pretty good and boy he drums better than i've seen him since the early 80's |
| hcrvelin 26.03.2005 16:19 |
legends never die! wrote: its true... how does brian still look quite young? You can see that he is getting old too. I just checked my photo of Bri when he was signing WWRY book. That was 6 months ago. I compared that with fresh photos from concert last week and there is a obvious difference. They are getting old - nothing wrong with that. I would be worried if that was not the case :) I believe Rog doesn't really look better than Bri (despite being younger) due to his life style (or what used to be his life style). |
| tomnever 26.03.2005 19:18 |
sorry but my father has the same age and he looks 10 years more than "poor old" Roger !! Come on he looks great ! That's Bri who looks incredibly well (apart from his belly !!!!) |
| sarah_watkin 27.03.2005 14:35 |
Ok roger did look a bit hot when drumming in SA but the rest of the time he looked fine. If you see the photo call with Nelson Mandela he looks totally normal and in the photos with his new very slim and pretty young girlfriend at the dinner he looked gorgeous and a bit drunk!! LOL. The man is just getting old. Also, he did have the flu a few weeks back- me too and I still haven't got over it yet- its a nasty bug so I'm not suprised if he is exhausted- I am and I am only 24 and not a drummer and in boiling hot SA! |
| Mr. Teatime 28.03.2005 10:48 |
Where is the picture with his new girlfriend? |
| Mr. Teatime 28.03.2005 10:56 |
MMmm just seen pictures... what happened to his other girlfriends? I thought he was with Debby someone or something... or did he trade her in for a younger model? Anyway, I'd tap it :) Though i doubt she'd want to tap me, heheh. |
| ryancoke 29.03.2005 15:05 |
Roger's my favorite Queen member, and I know that despite how he may look, he puts on a HELLUVA show! |
| MercuryArts 29.03.2005 22:53 |
Its the beginnning of the tour. Wait until mid April and see how he looks. By then he should be in a groove, as well as the whole band. Once he's running from limo to stage and back and getting a the mother or all workouts behind the drums & under those insainly HOT stage lights he'll drop mpre than a few pounds. If he looked like this and was obvious he couldn't keep up there would be a problem. But all I've heard is that he sounds excellent! If so, he'll be fine in 2-4 weeks! |
| Scirocco1977 30.03.2005 01:19 |
Well.. since "Pressure On" we know that Roger is afraid of having gained a few pounds... which basically is the reason for Queen to tour again. I think he'll be looking swell in about three to four weeks. |
| yea 30.03.2005 03:39 |
I thought Roger was magnificent at Brixton, I may be biased of course he is still my fav. member of Queen after 31 years as a fan. If he continues to drum the way he did at Brixton he will be really fit by the end of the tour.AND he can still sing and drum at the same time, so one up for Roger on all those doubting Thomases!! And let's face it I don't look the same as I did back in 1974, unfortunately!! Roger ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| MercuryArts 30.03.2005 09:30 |
Eacxtly! He's up there singing & drumming away with wanton abandon! Imagine if he was playing safe and easy like Don Henley? How bad would that be! |
