Ok, continuing DJ's We Are All Sad Bastards theme, it's time for everyone to name and shame themselves.
What's the most unbelievably naff, shite, embarassing and godawful CD you own?
Come on don't be shy.
I'll start us off.
The skidmark in the otherwise unsoiled expanse of my immeasurably tasteful and classy CD collection is...
'Tongue Tied' - by 'The Cat on' CD single.
Red Dwarf fans will know what I'm on about.
Here's the beauty in all its glory: link
My most embarrassing CD is a Pop Christmas sampler including
The Kelly Family - An Angel (!)
Wham! - Last Christmas (urgh)
New Kids On The Block - Little Drummer Boy (you don't want to hear this)
Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime (saves you a meal)
and
Queen - Thank God It's Christmas (the reason I own this thing)
Leo Sayer's Greatest Hits. Ok I'm sorry.
I wonder if anyone will admit to owning Queen's Greatest Hits 3. That's tant amount to sniffing girls bicycle seats.
fatty.
North, wash your mouth out, nothing wrong with Hot Space. As for my CDs, I dont really think I own a bad one. But along the lines of naff music, I downloaded 'Atmosphere' by Russ Abbott!! And 'Superman' by Black Lace along with 'Macho Man' by the Village People. Its for my mums 50th Birthday Party in Sept - Honest, *blushes*
"God..okay..I'll say it. I have a Michael Bolton cd.
*hangs head in shame*"
- reaches for the msn 'block' button.
Dont drink of Janet's coasters, thats all I'm saying...
Hold on, I should be revising....
Actually don't bother, I've enlightened myself, and don't much care for any further elaboration.
The words 'soft-rock' and 'sweet ballads' were as much as my morbid curiosity could stand.
*sucks on that*
Dear god, have the sappy balladeers not reached across the pond?
The reason I have the CD is for the Jim Steinman penned, "Making Love Out of Nothing At All." But it also contains the classics "All Out of Love" and "Every Woman in the World."
Here's a website sure to castrate any man: link
Woohoo! I love Air Supply and Jim Steinman. I have his 'Bad For Good' CD. And I have a personally compiled Air Supply collection including ALL of their hits. They've had 3 official single-disc compilations and left off some hits each time, the bastards. 'Lonely Is The Night' is a fave of mine.
I have 'Ultimate Manilow' also. And a custom version including Steinman's 'Read 'Em And Weep' :)
You're not even close to naffness old beans.
Try 'Location Apollo' by Lynx. Sounds great doesn't it?
Unfortunately I got it with a can of deodorant hence 'Appollo' and 'Lynx'.
Appalling dance music. If I wanna dance I go for Cotton-Eyed Joe by Gods.
haha, good work Freddie-B.
and Brian_Mays_Wig, RUSS ABBOTT, hahahahaha. didn't know he had an album.
As for my quality taste in music I'd have to say my worst CD's are, Brotherhood of Man ("Greatest Hits" (yes apparently they did have some great hits)), East 17 ("Steam"), Nick Kamen (can't remember the album name) and an album by Let Loose (who? I hear you ask). and I downloaded "Macho Man" Randy Savage's album. Comedy stuff, especially when he's ripping into Hulk Hogan. haha

My brother was listening to that the other day... If I had a gun, I'd have shot him. ~_~'
Erm... I own Take That's Greatest Hits (Great? Pah!)
Oh and a couple of Will Young and Gareth Gates singles... never went as far as purchasing an album though. Steps, B*Witched, and some nasty Hip-Hop stuff (Nelly, etc.)
I was young and naive. Well, that's my excuse...
