This is not easy but i would go with -Queen 2-Sheer Heart Attack-Live Killers. |

Queen 2, ANATO, Jazz That's bloody difficult. |

SHA and hot space plus miracle |
tomchristie22 18.07.2013 06:08 |
Good thing I don't have to choose... Queen II, A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races Sheer Heart Attack lost out by a slight margin, simply for the fact that I don't care much for She Makes Me, and I can live without Dear Friends and Misfire too. |
dysan 18.07.2013 06:17 |
I would be tempted to say I would be OK going right back to the first three albums that I had - GH, Q1 and LM. If I had to ditch GH I'd get the next one I owned NOTW and just sit there pretending I was 7 again. And they;d have to be on tape. |
Pingfah 18.07.2013 06:56 |
ANATO, News of the World, The Miracle. The Miracle is certainly the weakest of those by a country mile, but I want something more modern of theirs, and it's a snappier listen than Innuendo, and AKOM is pretty boring really. |

Bad Seed 18.07.2013 14:14 |
Just studio albums would be ADATR, Jazz and possibly Miracle. Would love to have a live album in there but they are yet to release anything good enough. |

Queen II, ADATR and ....... the usual 3rd choice would've always been Innuendo, BUT .... I'll say HOT SPACE !!!!!!!!! I'm becoming obsessed, very obsessed with this album lately. The same album I considered was shit for many years, like many of you, but .... I've learnt to love it so much, baby :) Ok, there's no defence for Body Language. I'll concede you this !! and The Game is in my forthcoming obsession list too :D |
malicedoom 19.07.2013 08:20 |

Queen II, Opera...and I think it would be The Works. |
Sebastian 21.07.2013 15:12 |
Opera, Jazz and Races, in that order. I love Queen II but I love SHA even more, and I love Opera, Jazz and Races more than both. |
Thistle 21.07.2013 17:08 |
Very difficult - but, after long deliberation, it's: Queen II The Game Innuendo |
gerry 24.07.2013 09:38 |
I would choose: Queen2 The Game & News of the world. if i had to choose a 4th then "Hot Space" would be there too. i think the worst Queen albums for me are innuendo and made in heaven. |
OwenSmith 24.07.2013 11:32 |
Queen II A Night At The Opera (DVD-Audio if allowed, I have it) Queen At The Beeb (I own an original silver bought in a record shop on original release) I really love Queen At The Beeb, if I could only have one Queen album that would be the one. |
tenement-finster 23003 24.07.2013 13:56 |
Queen Queen11 NOTW First 2 albums are par excellence in my humble opinion. |
dysan 25.07.2013 12:18 |
The thing is, I see each person's choice and I agree with it. Still sticking with mine and the reasons I gave. I must be a nostalgic fool. |
MartynTS 25.07.2013 12:51 |
Queen l, Queen ll, ANATO my three favorite albums in order. Im not going to explain why I like them, I probably couldn't. But that's them. Completely subjective. If bootleg's would count I'd probably trade Boston '76 for ANATO. That's my favorite recording of anything Queen. Beats all official and nonofficial releases. |

Queen, Queen II, and Sheer Heart Attack. |
brENsKi 28.07.2013 05:39 |
A Kind of Magic, The Works & Hot Space and i'd file them with my Python LPs - amongst all the other comedy vinyl i have |
Thistle 28.07.2013 07:23 |
^ Why does The Works always get such a bad rap? With the exception of Tear It Up and Machines, I think it's a really good album. It already has the firm faves of RGG, IWTBF, IAHL and HTF, and I really love KPTOW as well. Sure, it's not as strong as Queen II for instance, but I really don't understand the negativity. Each to their own, I suppose :) |
brENsKi 28.07.2013 11:02 |
the works dates horribly bad 80s production, really tinny, hollow sound and some really 80s-cliche-riddled song-writing oh, and the one track on it that i really like - Keep Passing The Open Windows - is the most blatant "Joe Jackson" rip-off - I'm surprised the two artist's legal teams weren't in long drawn out wrangles over it....it's almost like Steppin' Out never existed two years before !!! |

St Anger? |

brENsKi wrote: the works dates horribly bad 80s production, really tinny, hollow sound...Ssshhhhhh.....they'll want to remaster it :p In all seriousness though, I see your point - but if you see past production issues, most of the songs on The Works are good listening (IMO). Also, I never really knew the comparison with the JJ song you mentioned, as I've never really bothered with his stuff.....I know I'm as slow as a week in the jail, but I'm off to check it out lol. |
Thistle 28.07.2013 16:13 |
^ FUCK! Yep, I know the song lol.....it was one of those cases where I knew the tune on hearing it, but had forgotten the title. I actually really like that song, and they do sound sort of similar - although I think KPTOW is better. |

Interesting topic, took some thinking! Decided on ADATR (my favourite), Innuendo (the best of their later years) and... well, I would choose something from the middle of their career, but I'd rather have ANATO. |

My own "Deluxe" versions of Queen, Queen II and The Miracle. |
Wiley 06.08.2013 21:47 |
Tough choice. Opera, Races and Hot Space. The first one because it's fucking awesome. The other ones were the first Queen studio CDs I ever owned and have a lot of sentimental value to me, in addition to marvelous music. Tie your mother down, Drowse, Lover boy, Teo Torriatte... Staying power, Under pressure.. Great! |
Silken 07.08.2013 07:45 |
Innuendo and ANATO because I love them, Made In Heaven for sentimental reasons. |
