I'm listening to it right now, sounds great, but why must all Tarantura releases be louder and louder ? Anyway, a HUGE THANKS for sharing this |
| onedunpark 01.03.2011 12:32 |

pittrek wrote: I'm listening to it right now, sounds great, but why must all Tarantura releases be louder and louder ? ============================================ It's not volume per se... it's compression. They're saturating the sound by removing the range of volume. We can only wonder how good the actual master tapes sound... |

Thank you very much!! |

Thank you very much for sharing. And indeed it's a shame that even bootleg company's are in the 'loudness war' these days. |

Thanks A LOT for your generosity bootLuca !!!!! |

Thank you so much. What a fantastic sound. What a big difference to earlier bootlegs. |
| The Real Wizard 03.03.2011 15:42 |
If you think this is great, just wait until the remaster is posted. Without the compression it will blow your mind.. |
| Harry_queenrecordings 03.03.2011 16:21 |
Besides that it's of course wonderful that Tarantura release these great recordings, but it's really unbelievable that bootleg labels can ''destroy'' such great recordings.. Why not leave it as it is?? Maybe some small changes to make it sound a bit better, but a result with distortion is really strange. So the compression can be altered, but the distortion can't be fixed, right ?? |

Harry_queenbootlegs wrote: "So the compression can be altered, but the distortion can't be fixed, right ??" ================================= The compression can basically be masked with EQ - but it still won't sound as good as the unaltered original. And yes, distortion likely cannot be fixed. |
| Queenrockyou 06.03.2011 17:18 |
Oh, I was lacking time to come up here on a regular basis, and I was about to share this one with you... But BootLuca was faster ! An excellent one here ! And yes, sad that Tarantura comes with so much saturation... But at least this source is now available ! Thanks a lot BootLuca for that one ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |
| GuitarMay 06.03.2011 19:13 |
Good to see you again here in the forum, Ruth Olivier !!! you stay away for a long time, hein ? Welcome back ! ! ! :-) |

GuitarMay wrote: Good to see you again here in the forum, Ruth Olivier !!! you stay away for a long time, hein ? Welcome back ! ! ! :-) Ah !!! TOO long a time indeed... Unfortunately, I have less free time nowadays, that's why I somewhat disappeared... I can't even visit Queenzone as regularly as I did, and for some six months now, I lost track of everything happennig here. But I'm always there if needed, just ring the bell ! Regards, Olivier, Belgium. |

No remasters is planned? |
| stark 09.11.2011 11:21 |
vivaqueen wrote: No remasters is planned? Ok, so it's taken 500 years, but I promise I'm working on it. Each one of these Tarantura things is a mammoth task - the crowd at the end of every track has to be manually matched to the beginning of the next and then the volume slowly cheated back up to make the music sound more natural (and louder than the crowd) Etc, etc, etc. Listen to the transitions between the tracks on any of the recent Tarantura stuff and you'll hopefully hear what I mean. So apologies for the delay after I promised it, but it will arrive in the not too distant future. And what Sir GH wrote earlier in this thread re compression and distortion is correct: compression can be....... eased.....with judicious EQing, but distortion is printed and there's no getting rid of it, |
| vivaqueen 09.11.2011 12:39 |
What you did on "miracle game" was so an upgrade than I will wait 500 years if I can lol Thank You to do this and take your time , more longer more better |
| Holly2003 09.11.2011 14:25 |
Thanks to the original sharer. Are there any rapidshare, mediafire etc links for those of us who don't do torrents? |

Is the remaster in progress? |
| vivaqueen 01.07.2012 12:37 |
The remaster will make a real improvement? |
| vivaqueen 07.07.2012 15:21 |
another try |
| The Real Wizard 08.07.2012 10:31 |
It's unlikely. You can't fix distortion. |
