The Mercury Rising comeback concert of 2008, where Freddie appears and reveals he faked his death, took a short break living in Brazil and now has 8 albums worth of material, including BoRhap2. |

My house 2006.....I hope my brother doesn't come into my room and tell the band to not play so loud. Freddie would probably just say something like "shut the f**ck up darling, leave your sister be" xD |
mircal 28.09.2006 23:09 |
Yeah anyway........ In terms of sheer size and being tight with the best sound, its there later years, wembley, ect ect, live aid is worth a look at, even though its not a queen concert as such, it still adds to the later years. How ever, i do know that thats my opinion, many fans form the 70's would say there earlier days were better, but we dont have much footage to go to back it up, not in the likes of the webley DVD and so on |
freddieparis 29.09.2006 03:55 |
wembley 86 is the best one |

Yes.. Freddie has been living in John Deacon's home. Together they are planning the "come back" of come backs. So next year.. we'll be having 2 Queen's... Brian May and Roger Taylor's; Freddie Mercury and John Deacon's; Now.. "WHO is on first base?" |

1.5.1975 Tokyo Queen in top-shape. Brilliant setlist. And because I love that era. It is said to be filmed completely. If that is true, then I probably wet myself. |

Every member is on fire, especially Freddie who obviously KNOWS he's having a great day and realy goes ALL THE WAY! What a gig! |

My vote goes to Hammersmith '79; the band played sharp, Freddie's voice was in the best condition I've ever heard it in, and the set was absolutely GREAT. |

Hammy 75 and 79. Can't choose. xD Great sound, setlist and crowd. |
Rick 29.09.2006 10:49 |
Hammy'79 is nice, but the Newcastle shows of the same tour were even more better. Especially 4.12.1979. |

My favourite show is Tokyo 9/5/1985!!Freddie in amazing shape!!he nails every song in a unique way. |
AmeriQueen 29.09.2006 13:44 |
I am torn in my decision, but in the end I would go with Earl's Court '77 over Montreal '81. The song selection of the 'Day at the Races' tour was my favorite set list. Not only that, but certain songs that night(Doing Alright, In The Lap of the Gods Revisited, The Millionare Waltz, You Take My Breath Away, White Man/The Prophet Song) were done so beautifully. They were truly 'ON' that night. It's a longer than normal show as well. In terms of historical and social significance, Live Aid is without question their best show, because it showed the world that watched how much better Queen is than everybody else. As for the new tour, I will have to go with my 3rd show(if only their were a bootleg for it *sigh*) April 1st 2006 in San Diego, California. |
AmeriQueen 29.09.2006 13:48 |
Sherwood Forest, you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I suggest watching other concerts. The return concert to the U.S. had it's moments, and was incredibly emotional, but overall I see it as the worst show from the tour that I have heard. There didn't seem to be any remarkable song performances, and the guitar solo seemed as if Brian was trying hard to get it over with(he has a couple of false stops, only continuing on because the video segment wasn't finished yet. |

My favourite has always been the Rainbow Theatre, November 20 1974 show. Notable mentions for Houston 1977, Hammersmith 1979, Sao Paulo 1981, Hammersmith 1975, Montreal 1978, Copenhagen 1978, Osaka 20/11/1979, Frankfurt 1982. |

Best Queen live show: LIVE AID 1985 Best Freddie solo show: the "Give Time For Aids" charity-gala in 1988. Best clip: mmmm...dunno really....i really love the 1986 ones (magic, friends will be friends) and from 1989 "I Want It All"...."The Miracle"... there's soooo many.... But yeah, Live Aid 1985 WAS the very best Queen-show ever, as they proved to be the true champions of the world in only 20 minutes....it was my 75th Queenshow i attended....and Budapest was a dream of a show aswell.... |
