Of the people who have played additional instruments for Queen, i.e. the Spike Edneys, the Morgan Fishers, the Fred Mandels etc., who is your favourite? I think the main job the extra musos did on stage was the piano/keyboard parts of some songs...sure I've seen lots of SE playing guitar and stuff though it's never been too noticeable...anyway, of the keyboard chaps, I must say I like Spike's playing the most. Morgan Fisher, I quite dislike his playing in fact...seems to lack a certain taste, and he had a habit of throwing in his own frilly bits that didn't help the songs much. Spike Edney however was tasteful when he had to be, and at other times could go completely wild (and it sounded good, too). As for Mandel I haven't heard that much of his playing though he sounds fine. And looks a bit like Brian with his hair.
spike..I feel fitted in better as a band member, he loves the music, and it obvious to me the rest of the guys where comfortable with him, hey Rog started a band with him..The Cross, and he is still out there with them. Even went out with Brian on tour.. I like him, mandell was good, but I found morgan boring.
wow..can ya believe this is my first post in a year
wow
Though he wasn't a musical member of Queens' entourage Peter "Ratty" Hince would be the easiest choice for "5th Queenie" of the band. He was with the band when he worked for Mott The Hoople during their first tour together and later switiched to Queen in 75 and stayed with them til 86 looking after John and Freddies' gear. Great photographer too.

Actually it's your second. You posted right above it.
He was a friend of Freddie, ha has never played with Queen, but i am sure he would match perfectly in Queen,in absolutely every possible way:
Nick Rhodes!!!
Spike destroyed the whole sound of the Works tour (okay, the drums were also bad).
I wish John had thrown his bassguitar against his head. That's what I call "a Magic end to a Magic tour".

or brian's clogs
....wait no the Red Special is more important
:D
Red Special in the bath....u can't beat it!
when i was in the bath my AC30 blew up when i had it on full, my Cornish TB tasted like chocolate
why was this?
Roy Thomas Baker or Mack!!!!
Both producers definitely had a great influence on Queen's music and sound. Roy for 70s Queen and Mack for 80s Queen (Mack certainly helped them a lot to change their whole sound when the 80s arrived).
I know you ment the people playing with them on stage, but IMO Baker and Mack contributed far more to Queen than Spike Edney.

A GOOD GIMMICK IT WOULD BE BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would be the biggest diva freddie or stardust???
Jim Beach is quite often forgotten...
He has always been the backbone to Queen and helps to carry on the Queen and Freddie Mercury name on quietly without fuss...
I know hes not a musician but hes always there..
As for on stage presences ... Spike
