I'll start. This is something I've NEVER mentioned ONCE on this board before, but I have a mole on my (my view) left leg, which measures about 2cm by 1cm (it's nearly oval shaped), and is something that made it hard for children to sit on that leg when I was younger as it made it VERY uncomfortable, sometimes painful (thankfully these days, it never usually gives me any problems). My doctor said when I was really young that I should have it removed when I was at least 14. I'm nearly 19 now (birthday being April 15th) and I've still never bothered to get it removed. What do you guys think? Let's hear some interesting facts about yourselves now! (And let's try to steer clear of disgusting facts about your bodies, OK? :) |

i have a burn on my left hand which i got when i was about five, it used to be huge, but as my hand grew, obv its smaller now! i got it because one day i decided to collect stickers off things (i was a strange child...) and i found one on the inside of my lamp, i, being stupid, didnt realise the lamp was on so i stuck my hand staright into the light bulb (which i think had been on all night) and, yeah it HURT so there you have it. :( its looks like a crescent moon now though :) |

Lucky ol' you, Bob :D I haven't won anything for ages, I used to be quite prolific at getting freebies and stuff. I'll have to try it when they come to Sheffield, cos my local rag will run a similar competition. Anyway, I have a condition called Psoriasis; basically there is a fault in my brain - leave it! - which tells my immune system to reproduce skin cells too quickly, so instead of the usual 28 days, mine reproduce in just 3 days. I wish I'd known all that when I was at school, cos I could have blinded the bullies with science :( Of course, the downside is that it means I'm supposedly more likely to get skin cancer because the steroid creams thin the skin. A tea party is when you decide the tea your city produces (in this case, Boston) is so shitty that you dump it into the bay to try to make it better. Unfortunately, tea will always remain shitty no matter how much water you try to filter through it, so the entire thing comes off as a failure. You become sullen and depressed and start to drink heavily, neglecting friends, family, and your career, until you finally realize that it's just a fucking tea leaf and they're disgusting by nature. So, you go and kick that leaf right in its baby-maker and tell it to never treat you like that again. Ad infinitum, of course. |

"Let's share some little-known interesting facts about ourselves" I'm a DJ for more than a decade. On the evening of 17. XI. 2004. I had my own QUEEN VIDEO PARTY at one mini-club. There was a big screen, and I was playing "Live at the Rainbow" '74 concert, Greatest video hits 1 and 2, and "Live at Wembley stadium" DVDs to the people. It was ok evening, but nothing special. I had some disagreements with the club owner, so I was almost sorry that I was there with my precious DVDs and CDs. When I came home late that night, my cat wasn't at home. (I live on the ground floor of the building and I have a garden.) Every night we slept together, and that was the first night he wasn't in bed with me. I was nervous and scared... Usually I get up after noon, but that morning I got up much earlier. I went outside to find him... and there he was, by the road in front of the house... smashed by a car... . . . I still can't believe that... I don't go to that club anymore... if I stayed home on that evening, maybe I would still have him. He was my best friend. Damn Queen video party... |

I'm not sure how many of these are little-known, but they're interesting. 1) My life passion is catching bugs. If I don't make it in my field of choice, I want to study entomology. 2) I am 5'2.5" and I wear a size 13 shoe. 3) I am a mostly straight female, but my all-time favorite hangout is a gay-oriented coffee shop. Everyone there is very nice, and it's a very comfortable atmosphere. 4) I am obsessive-compulsive about dental hygiene, but I have never been to a dentist. 5) I collect hourglasses. 6) I collect coins. 7) I collect ballpoint pens. 8) I collect calendars. 9) I collect airsickness bags, and I have off and on collections of pretty much everything you can think of. 10) I love dried sardines. Really. |

I wore glasses every day for 11 years, and then contacts for 2 years, and now I don't wear any of that. My eyes just got better. :) I have a tiny little scar over my right eyebrow where I got a mole removed in grade 8, but you can't really notice it. I have a really strange aversion to buttons on clothes. I don't know why, but I just hate the look and feel of them, and I've been like that my whole life. It's weird. Right now, I am wearing monopoly socks that say "go to jail" on them, and have sac-of-money pompoms on the back. Oh yeah, and I can't close my mouth without wrinkling my chin. It's not noticeable until I point it out, but it's bizarre anyhow. |
