Forgive me if this has been mentioned before. I'm a newbie, though I've been reading the messages for months.
Has anyone noticed how John twitches when he plays his guitar? Hell, even when he's not playing. He twitched a lot when he was stomping and clapping in the WWRY video. Even his kid double in The Miracle video copied it.
Is there a good reason why he does this? Maybe it's a bass guitarist thing. I just watched a performance on TV last night of a band called The Walkmen. The bass guitarist looked like he was having a seizure while playing.
Perhaps it's John's way of getting into the groove. He does it so much it probably helps him become a part of the song. He does it in many Queen videos, and even on some live performances.
Or, worst case scenario, he has a serious medical problem which causes him to twitch whenever on camera.
I don't know the true story, it's just my opinion

Parkinsonism. Common syndrome.
Famous people who has it include the Pope, Muhammad Ali, Michael J. Fox

So would you after shifting that much brown air. And anyone within a 20 yard radius. It can be worse than cattle's business.
Why are we drawing attention to poor John's flatulence problem? He's on pills for it, y' know.
Maybe a cork would be more helpful.

Parkinson's Disease. I don't think Deaky's got it though. Otherwise he might not have been able to play the bass, it weakens the muscles in the hands and other areas of the body.
ah well, we may never get to the bottom of this lol
I've noticed it too. It may be as bad as at Wembley when, during Radio Ga-ga, he does this odd movement as if he were washing a window...with both hands. Odd, odd, odd!
i never paid that much attention to John...i like him just because he was in queen and did have some good lyrics etc...but he just blends into the background to me. He is just much too quiet.
I think it's just his 'thing'. Like a little characteristic. Roger sometimes does weird expressions etc when he's playing but I don't play the drums so I have no idea if thats normal.
heh, a drummers face.
Much like a guitarists face. I know sometimes when my mate has been really hammering his guitar he makes some odd, odd, motherless faces. It annoys me that I don't have a camera on hand most of the times. I could win money for those prizes.
