I find that there are way too many negative posts about Freddie and or Queen. Example? How if you play certain songs you hear the devil... and how fruity Freddie was and etc. Hopefully we'll be able to look only for the goods and concentrate on it!
Well... this is not a fan club site... This is not a stepford site either (although stepfords are getting stronger)... So better get used to criticism and the fact that not everybody here is completely mad about Queen and nothing else...
The devil thing has nothing to do with Queen. All they were saying about Queen was that Another One Bites The Dust played backwards sounds like "it's fun to smoke marijuana". They weren't into occult crap. It was other groups that had satan remarks. As far as how fruity Freddie was, it wasn't hidden that he was gay. So he's setting himself up for all the gay bashers out there. I don't give a crap what those a-holes say, the bottom line is the music, and Queen's music is my favorite. Just don't let it bother you. You know how good they are, and that's all that matters!!
I think you'll find Queen were into the occult. Even now John messes around with a voodoo doll every Friday night in his garage.
I won't give away details about who the voodoo doll symbolises.
and lets not forget the preacher on Oprah
who said the song Jesus by Queen was about the devil
..all because the lyric says 'going down to see the Lord Jesus' if it was really about Jesus one would be going up.... not down.....

On Oprah for real? Iron Eagle (or others), can you remember the approximate date or the names of the main guests? This kind of thing is near to my heart & I'd love to write for a transcript. Any info you have is appreciated!

I would be interested in watching that particular show too.
This site is great for the most part. The only thing I don't care for are the tossers who don't know where to draw the line with being a fan. Taking things related to Queen to heart is a bit pathetic. It's all about having fun and hating the Rolling Stones.....oops!

I remember my uncle mentioning Nirvana as satanic. Yeah, and flannel was evil and Seattle was hell. Oh, and Starbucks was the devil's potion.
To be a true fan you need to be able to look at both good and bad. constructive critisism is v important to everyone and looking from both sides means you aint a stepford, which is always a bonus!
Jesus Christ! now in 2004 are analysing a 1973 Song? these people has nothing to DO... probably the lyric is about the people is going down the stairs or going down some montaint to see the Lord Jesus is not always the word DOWN is related with HELL, I thing people are being too superticious these days... Conclusion They dont have nothing to do and nothing to think...
