I find this to be the most fascinating. Dan..great minds think alike! ;-) I thought some of Fred's songs were aching and yearning for love or lost love. We all know he was never truly happy in his love life (pretty close with Mary though); this came out in his music. Even some on the Barcelona CD with Montserrat Caballe were so bare they almost cut to the bone!! (The one that still makes me sob myself sick is Guide Me Home -- oooh!!!!!!) |

When i read the topic title one thing automatically popped into my head. It was "I still love you" at the very end of "These are the days of our Lives" because of the way freddie said it, he like whispered it and you feel like he is speaking directly to you. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. |
