Google searching doesn't always yield many results other than Amazon and Ebay, especially countries other than your own, so how about we all take a look at a few places online and post their current prices?
I'm sure there are still plenty of people for whom the £85 price is a bit too much....
I'll start:
Amazon UK seem to be out of stock.
Whatrecords.co.uk have it for £89 plus delivery.
Queenonline still £85 plus delivery.
I bought the album mp3s on iTunes and watch the concert video on Youtube when I feel like it. I'm just interested in the music, the sensation, the bands interaction, their individual performances. Not the merchandise, not even in the sound or video quality as long as it's reasonable (i.e. 320 kbps mp3s).
Had there been some genuinely interesting stuff in the boxset and it was like 40 - 50 € I might have considered it.
I agree with Oscar to a degree.
In my eyes, you can keep the repro stuff. Not interested.
£12 for the BD, £12 for the DVD and £12 for the CD, £15 for the 12" (and that's expensive) makes the 60 page book a whopping £35.
Take out the DVD (because why the hell would I want it if I have a BD player) and that makes the book £47.
It "feels" like they made fewer of these than they did the Rainbow, yet they still want the same profit from it.
Really these deluxe sets should be no more than £50 each, not £85.
And that's why i didn't bought the Odeon boxset. I gave enough of my money last year to them when i bought the Forever vinyl boxset and the Studio Collection.
