My favorite is probably Queen ll. But the one i loved the most was Queen l when I got it. So I usually mention it. It's sort of a tough choice, Queen ll is objectively better IMO, and it is a great album with some amazing tracks. But Queen l is just good... the more I think about it the more I like it. I mean, the first 8 tracks on it would all be listed in my favorite songs... tl;dr = Queen ll |

People have put 'The Works' and 'The Miracle'? Wow, that really is amazing. Two awful albums, let's hope no one picks 'A Kind Of Magic', too? In my opinion as someone who was there right from the start, it has to be 'A Day At The Races', cos every single track is fantastic, no other album has that for me. I love Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack, also and the next in my list would be The Game, believe it or not? Even though I couldn't believe what I was hearing, when I first heard Another one bites the dust. |

I tried to access the Member Survey (drop down menu when you roll over "Members"). I remember voting for favorite album and favorite band member (Q2 and Brian May). Last I checked Q2 and Freddie Mercury were winning, but now I can't seem to access it.

As for The Works, well, people have their own opinions I guess. Although it's not a surprise that the user named TheWorks likes it. |

Ha I find it amusing how so far I am the only one who's favorite album is Queen I. About three months ago it was ANATO vs Queen I for me, but Queen I came out to be the winner just because I liked the heavier rock and deeper lrycs (IMO Queen I's songs had deeper lryics overall) over ANATO diversity. For sentimental reasons ANATO can still take top spot in the future. |

mooghead wrote: Why dont you do one of your brilliant polls so we all know the real answer...According the Member Survey that used to exist, Queen II was at the top, followed very closely Queen then by ANatO. Although I'm aware you're being sarcastic. |

Choose one? Well, I guess I would say ANATO. An extremley close second would be the debut album. 1 - ANATO 2 - Queen 3 - Queen II 4 - Innuendo 5 - ADATR 6 - MIH 7 - SHA 8 - NOTW 9 - The Game 10 - Jazz 11 - The Miracle 12 - Hot Space 13 - The Works 14 - Flash Gordon 15 - AKOM |

Definitely Queen II. The complexities on that album are out of this world. I don't think anyone can top that. All outsiders know are Bohemian Rhapsody, whereas we can see that it stemmed from the compositions found in Queen II. Like, for me, March Of The Black Queen is a masterpiece. I honestly cannot fault that album. |
ili 19.03.2013 02:31 |
This is a subjective matter; so everyone may have different opinions and we have to respect that. in my opinion INNUENDO is the greatest album both lyrically and musically. I believe that we see Queen at their peak as a united band, away from egos and mature; and it all reflects on the album with 12 great songs. Yes, it was partly or mostly related to Freddie's health condition at that time and I'm not sure we would have the same album if Freddie was not ill at that point. I take it as a farewelll album from Freddie to Queen fans and the band really worked hard, putting their best effort to make it special. Yes, I would say their greatest album is definitely INNUENDO. |

INNUENDO, MADE IN HEAVEN (*I'm aware that this selection relies mostly on a few select tracks but they're the albums I always come back to) News of the world Imho innuendo has no filler Except the soup in the laundry bag "He used to be a man with his dick in his hand, She used to be a woman with a dildo collection" In spite of the hardship looming they had fun with the songs and made light of many things while also strangely making some transcendent tunes Favorite CLASSIC album is II but that's a sitting album. It's epic and crazy. (*excluding loser in the end) Hoop diddy diddy Hoop diddy doo |

Great to see a later album like Innunendo getting so many top votes. It deserves them in my opinion! My favourites, which it would be meaningless to split are Queen 2, SHA, ANATO, NOTW, Jazz, Made in Heaven and Innuendo. That's a lot of favourite albums! |

@Makka...A Day At The Races is superb. I've always enjoyed it quite a bit more than ANATO. The songs draw you in more, imho, while I feel ANATO always keeps you at a distance. |
