He spoke on German, but according to different sources - very poorly (though other sources says he was good at German). And Freddie says he wrote the words of La Japonaise himself. As well as of Mustapha - so he knew at least something from those languages too. I suppose he could speak on French too.

I know that he could speak french
No he couldnt.
Serry, i read he found a translater to do the Japanese words for him, and that he wrote the lyrics in english. But far be it from me to contradict you, LOL!
Freddie spoke very few German for someone who lived there for so long, he only knew a couple of expressions. If he spoke any Indian languages he certainly did not care to dwell about this. The words in Mustapha do not require any language skills because the words except for the names and some "Salaam aleikums" are all made up.
La Japonaise is an interesting issue. In fact, Freddie is credited for the words but according to Jim Hutton's book Freddie did not understand any Japanese let alone speak the language.
Brian speaks Spanish.
And to quote Brian: "Mon francais est un peu crap"
But I think his French is better than 90% of the englishman speak French.

He speaks spanish because i heard him in an interview speaking spanish and it was very good but Portuguese is different, he doesn't know Portuguese from what i've researched but Spanish and Portuguese share a few words but it's not the same language.
I suddenly feel rush of pride of being a spaniard..lol..yaaaaaaaay!
