Sadly this is most likely to be true.
Back in the 80s I was one the millions and millions of kids who idolized Michael Jackson, and we could listen albums like 'Off The Wall', 'Thriller', 'Bad' and 'Dangerous' countless number of times and never get tired of them. Me and my buddies would record MJ videos and watch them endlessly while trying to immitate his moves.
Then MJ kept getting weirder and weirder, and then the child molestation allegations hit the spotlight. It started to become difficult to like Michael, not only for his antics but also because his work started to become weak and less appealing.
When Michael released 'Invincible' I really hoped he could make a decent come back, but although it wasn't a horrible record, it was a very dissapointing one.
Michael lost his 'King Of Pop' crown a long time ago, and chances are he'll never get it back.
Oooh, I'm gonna tell my mom about this! She was just goin' on today about how she wanted to see him live, but never got the chance, yadda, yadda, yadda... Actually, she was nagging me cuz I always always goin on and on abou seeing Billy Joel live. ;P She'll be happy to know Jacko's releasing a new album!

I think so too unfortunately. He's getting older, and I think he might have a good CD out if he toned it down a bit. He's still doing the same stuff he was doing twenty years ago as far as style. Maybe if he would change his style he would have a more successful album.
I love his music. Well I like everything from Off The Wall to History: Past Present & Future...was that the full title? Everything after that kind of sucks.

He was walking on the moon, his moves seemed to defy the laws of gravity, he changed the look of modern dance. And his voice had an unique blend of innocence and rawness. By the time Thriller came out he really was the king of pop. No one will ever come close to making such complete popalbums as Thriller and Off the wall.
These days he has become a victim of his own success. He is falling to pieces in public and it is all very tragic.
I don't think he can make an interesting album again. But I'll never get tired of his classic ones.
Hey, Freddies son: nice MJ picture.
