OK friends, this topic is divided into three parts. First, the concerts that you have been to, second, the artists who you would like to see and thirdly the artists who you would like to see but probably/most likely/certainly won't get to see. Here are mine: ARTISTS I HAVE SEEN: Status Quo, Live at Newcastle City Hall, November 2005 ARTISTS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE Uriah Heep Deep Purple ZZ Top Aerosmith Van Halen AC/DC (do they still tour?) ARTISTS I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SEEN BUT PROBABLY OR MOST LIKELY WON'T NOW Queen (of course) Led Zeppelin The Who Black Sabbath Rainbow Pink Floyd Well, there you have it. Some of these bands may still tour. If so, I would love to hear from you. |

I'd rather go to a Britney Spears concert than a Dave Matthews Band concert. At least at the Britney Spears concert you can wear ear plugs and still get to check her out. |

I almost mentioned how I had wanted to go see Alice Cooper... grr... He was at the Common Ground Festival, but nooooo... Of all the bands/musical people I like, my mom dislikes Alice Cooper and David Bowie the most. Maybe this is because they are both still alive...? |
KillerQueen840 06.05.2006 19:37 |
Awe, I'm sorry to hear that. My parents aren't very fond of Alice either but they both like Bowie a lot. My aunt used to love Alice Cooper so I think my best bet of catching one of his concerts is by going with her. ;-) |

Seems like once those cannabis fumes are absorbed by your lungs, travel through your blood stream, and then get into your brain, you end up liking DMB, Bob Dylan, or Lou Reed. If that doesn't convince people to stay away from drugs, I don't know what will. |

Now we're kind of at the point in the thread where the replies aren't read by anyone else, people just keep posting. What the hell, I'll post anyway. I saw Elvis Costello last February and it was fucking amazing. I also went to Live 8 in July, which was not as good, but still excellent. On Friday I am going to see For Pete's Sake, and I hope to see The Undertones later this year, and Franz Ferdinand, sometime, and Queen + Paul Rodgers. And The Jam, obviously, but that's not happening. |
