Just home from the concert. One word: AMAZING. The crowd was electric, the band was on fire and the sound was amazing. It was 100 times better than the Seattle show, in all aspects. Positives: - I was 2nd row next to catwalk - They played a Hendrix song, nice surprise. Not sure what the name was - All the solos were a little longer it seemed, and Brian's guitar solo was 10 times better than Seattle (only thing I can compare to) Negatives: - Only one, and it's not really a negative - the video for Boh Rhap screwed up and was not insync, but who cares. An amazing show, I liked the changes to the setlist and I loved the blues song they sang. I'm pretty sure it's a Hendrix tune. I wish there was more to come... |

Yeah man!! The Hendrix song they played was Red House, I loved that. It was just such a good show |

Anyone remember the setlist??? |

Basically what he said above, but with additional comments (in no particular order): Under Pressure was THE most energetic highlight of the evening IMFO. Gave me goosebumps! BohRap was screwed up badly on the video (and they seemed to be using a slightly alternate vocal take for Freddie?), but that aside, it fucking rocked. I nearly cried! (Otherwise no other negatives) Brian did not swear at all as far as I could remember. He did crack the Vanilla Ice joke which got a nice boo from the audience. The guitar solo and the middle section of BohRap were presented in surround sound!! The drum solo was a fucking riot! Sometime after Roger started, he stopped and grabbed a Mexican hat from behind and put it on (forget what they're called), and so did Danny, Spike and Jamie, and Roger did a Mexican-style solo on the rototoms while the other 3 were dancing!! When Brian was being handed his guitar for HTF....oh my fucking God, words cannot explain how hilarious this was. PLEASE POST SOME PHOTOS OF WHAT I'M REFERRING TO, GUYS!! It'll do more justice! The venue was practically full, if not potentially SOLD OUT! I got all the sixpences I was sent the money for, and then some...more on that later guys. Oh yeah, and I got Paul's autograph on my misprinted ROTC CD booklet before the show. And I was about 3 feet away from Brian's car when he was coming into the Coliseum!!! More later... PS. They played "A Little Bit Of Love" during rehearsals |

YourValentine wrote: At which point of the set list did they play Red House?Good question. I can't remember. I think it was a few songs before BohRap....but I'm not sure, cos I didn't write down the setlist. |

Oh yes, and this was a classic moment for me, I must share it with you guys. I DID get to meet Paul's wife, Cynthia (csp?), and shortly before we departed to the concert, I got two pictures of me and her on my camera: 1 normal shot, and a silly shot with her modelling my Pikachu earmuffs and me with a silly (if not dumb) facial expression! Very nice lady tho', I really enjoyed meeting her! |

They played it in about the middle of the set after 'last horizon'...i gotta say again...this was an amazing show...the place was packed...the crowd was great...just fantastic...about 1000X better than the hollywood bowl. |
inu-liger 14.04.2006 04:43 |
Oh yeah, and did anyone else smell marijuana being smoked during the drum solo and guitar solo?? Fucking shit, that was disgusting in every way. I thought there was a no smoking policy on this tour?? |

PS. They played "A Little Bit Of Love" during rehearsalsAww..that's sort of sad in a way. They must've been like "Well this is our last time playing for a while, hey let's do Little Bit Of Love for fun eh?" :( I wish it weren't over |
