Queen II is the best for a few reasons such as: 1. White Queen as it began is on it 2. Their best work, even though its not noticed by the majority of the public 3. Its their most original and true to them album out of all the albums |
Jay Mantis 02.04.2006 16:57 |
Queen II is a Fantasy-Rock-Rollercoaster. Some of the most original Queen songs ever are featured on this album, it's my favorite Queen album as well! |

InnuendoMay 02.04.2006 17:41 |
Definatly one of the greatest albums ever made, and in my top Queen albums, number two after ANATO/Innuendo/SHA...maybe...White Queen is just simply beautiful, one of Brian's best moments! And The March Of The Black Queen, need i say more?? Great solid album, hard to believe it was only their second album to be honest, they sound so mature and sure of themselves its as if they have been in the game for longer! Lol! Love the album though! |

Veru ambitious for such a youong band. My personal favorite. Lots of information. Would love to take the master tapes and disect it track by track. Absolutely awesome!!! |
InnuendoMay 02.04.2006 18:47 |
All that talk of how amazing it is made me stick it on again! I haven't listened to the whole album in a while, and i need to get a new copy (my current cd player enhances any and all markings to totally screw up the cd!) but man, is it incredible or what??? Love this album, definatly one of their finest hours! Well, 40 minutes actually! Brilliant all the same! I have never appreciated Loser In The End before today, i always used to skip it, but it has some incredible drums and guitar work! |
as it began 02.04.2006 20:08 |
Funny How Love Is ruins it. |

It's not my favourite album but it's a good one! Sheer Heart Attack and A Night At The Opera RULES!!! xD Procession - Wonderful opening to a great album. Lovely guitar work on there. Father To Son - a good Brian May song Freddie sounds nice on this track. White Queen (As It Began) - Brilliant song, another good song of Brians. Some Day One Day - One of my favourites on this album. Just pure smoothing Brian xD The Loser In The End - A good Roger song, not excited over it but yeah i like it. Ogre Battle - I love the begining bits. This song is another brillant track. Great live. The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke - WOW! This is one of my favourites here... so much going on i love it. Nevermore - I adore this song. Wish it was longer, i think it's a lovely ballad. The March Of The Black Queen - a great track, very active and alot going on in this one. It's great. Funny How Love Is - Well, it's a good love song but i dont really get all excited with this one. Seven Seas Of Rhye - Great song, good chorus good lay out. Great live. |
NOTWMEDDLE 02.04.2006 20:13 |
Kind of a bland album and I can see why it was overlooked in the US. The sound was shallow and is the least listened to of the 70s Queen albums. I tried to like it but I fall asleep listening to it. Fairy Feller was The Son of Crocodile Rock. Funny How Love Is(candidate for worst Queen track ever). White Queen, Ogre Battle, Father to Son, March of the Black Queen and Seven Seas of Rhye were killer live but the studio counterparts were pale. See What a Fool I've Been should have closed the album originally(thank goodness it was added to the US re-issue). I still say Opera was the best 70s Queen album. The Game was best 80s Queen album. Innuendo hands down Queen album of the 90s. |
InnuendoMay 02.04.2006 20:20 |
I actually like every song on this album now, i used to skip Loser In The End, but theres not a bad song on this album, i even like Funny How Love Is...quite catchy actually. |

Queen, Queen II, and SHA are their best albums...oh yes and ANATO. |
wembley86 03.04.2006 00:44 |
if you like queen and queen 2 for those who dont have the bbc recordings it is a combo of the two albums. and pretty good i might add. i like the cover of queen 2. in the 80's i couldve seen it on jean jacket back then. those 80's trends they will be missed and have been thats why they are coming back. |

Roy Queen 03.04.2006 07:09 |
Yeah, it's absolutly the best Queen album, and maybe the best album ever made. Rolling Stone and other shitty magazines do not agree with me, but who cares? I think you have to listen to this at least 5 times before it really grows on you, and from then.. you just gonna love it. |

Freddie Mercurys 1 true love wrote: Who else loves Sheer Heart Attack?!?!?Errrrrrm, I do! Best album ever. Not that Queen II isn't fantastic, it's certainly more unique than SHA. Not a lot of bands had the courage to make a mad album like Queen II. Or Queen and ANATO, for that matter. Or The Miracle and Innuendo. Actually, all Queen's albums are mad. But in a good way. |
Al TurHao 03.04.2006 08:36 |
It's also my favourite album! It's a fact that the majority of true Queen fans would place their favourite albuns in the 1973-1977 period. ;) As for disregarding some songs in Queen II like Funny How Love His, one must not forget that contrary to other albuns which are mainly a sum of songs, Freddie's black side should be taken as a whole, as they are not just a bunch of songs. You certainly cannot compare Procession to Black Queen, they kinda serve different purposes, in that whole Queen II is. Anyway, there are simply no bad songs in Queen II. |
eedodededededea 03.04.2006 09:01 |
well, honestly i like all the queen music equally, so pls dont think that I prefer something else to Queen II. And one more thing- they sound very professional though it was only the 2nd album |
deleted user 03.04.2006 10:24 |
Queen II is very good, but Queen's peak was "A Night And the opera" and "A Day At the Races". IT's the variety of styles Queen used throughout their career that make them the most interesting band in the world. Seriously, would you really like it if all the Queen albums sounded like Queen II? By the way, if I am in a party mood I'd prefer Hot Space any day over Queen II. |
The Freddie Bigotes 03.04.2006 12:16 |
YES ¡¡¡ It´s My Fav Queen Album... for sure QUEEN II. Nice and Excellents Riffs, Great piano... everything is Great in QUEEN II 1.- Queen II 2.- ANATO 3.- Innuendo 4.- ADATR 5.- Queen I 6.- The Miracle In my opinion :D |
1bigdaddycool 03.04.2006 12:23 |
Loved everything about this LP artwork, lyrics, sweeping spectoresque wall of sound,etc... Kinda Beach Boys (harmonies) meet Led Zep(heaviness)- it's hard to believe that this was the same band that would go on and record hot space... |
The Freddie Bigotes 03.04.2006 12:36 |
Yes they did Hot Space (bad bad bad), but in life everithing it's like a "Rueda de la Fortuna"... sometimes you are up and others you are down... What you can say about innuendo and the miracle, 2 greates albums and they did very years after Hot Space.... |
Ian_snake 03.04.2006 16:21 |
SHA kicks ass! Sheer Heart Attack should be the next album released on DVD-audio just like ANATO and The Game were and 2day I also bought Led Zeppelin 4 (symbols) and black dog and stairway to heaven are CLASSICS! |
