Hello! What do you think, which Queen song has the best guitar solo? |

The Invisible Man - that's proof that Brian's skills shouldn't be underestimated. |

YDFM is a great solo. Invisible Man -- sounds impressive, though of course when comparing that style of playing to the likes of Ed van Halen it isn't special. Brighton Rock -- I love as a song, but the guitar solo again I don't think is breathtaking. Bohemian Rhapsody however -- it's not the most difficult solo, technically (albeit that Brian said he fought with it on stage), but it's complete and it's beautiful in every sense. It enhances the song, and by itself it is a wonderous riff. The solo in Killer Queen (again not obviously impressive) is also however fantastic I think. |

Funny, I always thought YDFM was prob one of Brian's best, too, didnt think anyone else really cared for it (MIH rarely gets mentioned in anything). I thought when Bri played LOML during solo time live in Ireland 2005 was cool, though not the 'solo' kind of thing youre speakin of. |

The acoustic guitar on Brian's album version of TMLWKY is really nice. The solo I mean. |
chefman5150 28.01.2006 18:18 |
I have to give it up to Invisible Man, A Winter's Tale (I'm sorry, that solo gets me choked up every damn time!!), You Don't Fool Me, and probably the Brighton Rock solo on Final Live in Japan 1985, and Too Much Love Will Kill You from Brian May's Live at Brixton from '93...those would be my top 5... |

For a song that really wasn't much of a hit, the solos on Rain Must Fall are great. |

The solo of Somebody to Love is perhaps not that spectacular, but really wonderful. Same goes for Killer Queen. |
