Would it kill some people to put some of these concerts up in Rapidshare, like Houston 77? I and others, don't like torrent and have problems using it.
En...
Torrent is no good to some guys, though I can use it, the speed is really a problem. (I can't connect the tracker at all, and totally don't know why. So I can only use DHT network, and download files in a rather low speed, several K/s)
In fact I plan to put Huston 77 on RapidShare, but MPG files seems to be impossible (3.62G!!), so at first I will transfer them to RMVB files
My Houston 77 is not downloaded from BT, but Emule, so I don't know whether they're the same
Well, maybe this weekend
Sorry for the 'harshness' of the 1st post. I have problems downloading w/ Torrent (I have tried before) w/ it being too slow. It's sad to see all these awesome concerts being put out there w/ Torrent and not rapidshare. It saddens me, as I am unable to successfully partake in the downloading and listening experience.

That doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. Torrents are typically slower downloads. Just be patient. No one is going to go through the effort of uploading show as torrents and Rapidshare files just because you think it takes too long.

Hi, maybe you should try µtorrent. link
Its very lightweight and simple. Doesnt hog your PC like bitcomet, azureus etc.
Just remember when using torrents, you should set your upload limit to its highest, as this in turn will determine download speeds.
For example, I have 10mb ntl broadband, so I set my upload speed to 65kbs. Also only allocate say 4 upload slots per torrent, too many slots will also have an adverse effect on your speed. Setting your speed to low also wont help, as the combined speed for the torrent (all users speed added together) will also drop, and users will be allocated less in return.
With 10mb Broadband. I have possible speeds of 1.14mb/sec. This does not mean that I always will hit this speed. Commonly, it trakes a while for my speed to rise. It normally starts of at around 40kbs, and then it will rise to anywhere up to 700kbs. Again be patient.
Torrents take time to pick up on speeds sometimes. It depends on the amount of seeders & peers. A torrent with plenty of seeds, say 100 and 20 peers will go far quicker to one with 2 seeds and 50 peers. Patience is the the key.
Remember you shouldn't have too many torrents running at one time. 3 or 4 max or even less, will help you download faster.
Dont use a common port like 6881. This port has been targeted by ISP as it used to be a common port for p2p networks. I use 49155.
Sometimes your firewall may be blocking the bittorrent client or port. So check the program control on your firewall and make sure that your bittorrent client is not blocked. Foe example I use Zonealarm, so I go into program control in ZA and i make sure ZA hasn't got a "red x".
This may or may not help. It helped me and I've been using bittorrent for as long as its been around. Hopefully it may help some of you.
REMEMBER BE PATIENT.
