Who's got one of these Gadgets? I've Got The ipod 20GB one of the First ipods with the scroll circle and the four selection buttons above, but it's abit worn out from years of use and too heavy so don't use. I also have the ipod Shuffle. I use the Ipod Shuffle more as it's new and it's more light weight, and would buy a ipod Nano 4GB White, when i sell my ipod 20GB.
I had a First Generation 40GB but I sold it 'cos I ran out of room for my songs. I got a 60GB Photo iPod for Christmas. It's got 8623 songs on it as of right now.

same deal with me- sold mine to my mom cuz i ran outta room and bought the new 60 GB white one
I have a creative Zen, Only 1 Gb, as I see no reason to put so many songs when I only listen to it at work. Holds about 500 songs if in WMA format, which is spiffy enough for me.

I have a Creative Zen Touch 20GB, which does me fine. It's pretty much full up.
I've had my Ipod 20GB from a year now, and I'm more than satisfied.
However, I've heard a lot of complaints about the Nano for being so fragile, and the screen cracks very easily.
I've got a Mini 4 GB and it's got about 930 songs.. but that's without any Queen on there.. I'd like to get a Video iPod but I've only had my Mini for a couple of months, and I can't afford it. :(
I hate lossy audio formats like MP3.
an Ipod isn't an option for me.
The only thing i would like to buy is a new generation portable minidisc recorder.
It records over 90 minutes in WAV/PCM audio on 1 disc. Great for recording concerts!
Ive got an ipod which is shit, gotta have it sent back for the 2nd time now.
Its 20gb.
I want to get the sony ones, the 20gb sony holds 13000 songs, more than double a 20gb ipod, at the same quality.

I have a 60 gig black 5th generation iPod, and in addition to it's sleek, new look and simple, efficient design, you have compatibility across platforms and users. Since it's the biggest-selling mp3 player, it's very likely that you and your mates can get together, sync up, share, etc., especially with the superb iTunes audio player - I have tried several media players, and I always come back to iTunes. It's the best. Since the iPod player is fully compatible with this software, along with all other reasons, it is the obvious choice for mp3 players.
Although, as has been mentioned, I do have a gripe with anything other than the standard iPod, as the nano is fragile and seemingly cheaply made, the shuffle is useless, and the minis are discontinued.
However, if you want to enjoy and experience the top of the industry, I would go with iPod. Creative models are cheaper, but if you're looking for quality, go Apple. Of course, I suppose, if you are prone to mistreating your device, another model may suit you better.
I'm going to buy myself a Cowon X5L (30 GB)
It's superior to the i-pod on a number of points (actually, almost every point), and even supports flac.
Most important feature: battery life = 35 hours!
