ANNOUNCE - Xmass 1989 Garden Lodge Video Snippet (enjoy)
| TRS-Romania 26.12.2005 05:25 |
Hello dear Queenzoners, I havent been too active on Queenzone lately, but since the purchase of my laptop and my internetmodem I can contribute some more to the forum ... I hope Santa has been kind to you on Xmass eve, and I thought of adding a very special Xmass present for all of you ... Lately a lot of new demo's have been 'on the market' and a lot of new things have surfaced ... and I am very grateful for that ... The file I am sharing is a 1989 snippet from Xmass in London, Garden Lodge (with Freddie Peter Straker and I gues Trevor "BB" Clark in the Kitchen) "Keep the glasses on dear" as Peter Straker says ... well here is the link: link Enjoy! And let me know what if you all liked it ... TRS-Romania aka Stefan PS DONT use Winamp to view the file, use Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. For some reason the file is getting stuck in Winamp! PS Be sure you have all the right video codecs installed. If the file doesnt play go to: link |

Do you need a premium account to get this? For some reason it's not letting me get it with a free download. I've had not trouble before d/l free stuff. |

No there are two things that can happen: 1) too many people are downloading in too little time (meaning you have to wait for some time) 2) Sometimes Rapishare asks you to type in 3 letters. It is some sort of a savety meassure. They show you 3 letters in colour, which you have to type in before the download can start. I found out you have to use CAPITAL letters. this last option (when you have to type in 3 letters) sometimes happens, not for each time you want to download something from Rapidshare. I think it's a real shame that footage like this gets circulated. Surely a video like this is too private and personal to be made available to the public. It's not as if it has any musical significance to Queen or Freddie. This snippet was taken within Freddie's home, within his personal space. I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy to know at that time, that such material would be made free to anybody in the future, especially being someone who put such great emphasis on his private life. I am i no way having a go at the uploader, as I know they have every right to upload what they like, and i know that they have shared this with generous motives. Its just, if I found out that private footage I had taken within my home would one day be made available to any Tom, Dick or Harry then I would be quite upset. And I'm fully aware that I hold no great similarity to a rock star as Freddie. Again, I hold no ill will to TRS, nor am I taking a pot shot at him for sharing. |
