Though Marlene Dietrich was never one of my favourite movie actresses she is surely one ot the most legendary Hollywood stars!! Certainly in league with Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo or Jean Harlow.
Her best films are (in my opinion):

Shanghai Express (1932)
The Scarlett Empress (1934) -> unbelievable movie
The Devil Is a Woman (1935)
