Hey... Roger had such GORGEOUS EYES!!! Why did he always cover them up with sunglasses? Even indoors... I understand having them on outdoors, but why during recordings and what not?? And pardon the pun but... did he wear his sunglasses at night??? What was he hiding??? |

He did this just to look more hot, I guess...:) Althoug I agree it wasn't always working since some of his sunglasses were horrible (like the ones he wore on One Vision video...lol) |

Well he was hottttt enough w/o them !! ;-D But yea, the ones he had on the ONE VISION vid were baadd... a bit of a faux pas.. but hey everyones entitled to one. But there is an interview, but its like a quick blurb on GH2 DVD w/o his sunglasses on, and the way the lighting is well lemme j/ say.... WOAHHHH!!!! They were the bluest things ive ever seen! :-D |

Yeah well I agree his eyes were absolutely gorgeous and that it was a shame that he tried to hide them behind hideous sunglasses :). What was that interview you were talking about, where his eyes looked beautiful ??? Cause there are a lot of them...:) |

Roger always had bad eyesight (until I think he had laser eye surgery a few years ago), and wearing sunglasses was way more rock n' roll than regular glasses! |

well yeah... I don't know if he had been surgery for his eyes... but if you look at the Brian May site, clicking ROGER and choose TFI Friday, you will see he is wearing sunglasses there, too, but when he came back, he's got his sunglasses askew, whick is either more uglyer ... just that I want to say... cheers |

Here are the few having to do with his eyesight. Roger recently had corrective surgery on his eyes due to being nearsighted. Roger wore his shades all the time because they were prescription for his eyesight. |

Thanks for all of that! Yea i assumed because it is said that people with blue eyes have more sensitive eyes to light for long periods of time and what not. So it does make perfect sense, not that he didnt look good with em on tho, cuz he did! And yea i loved the ones he had at wembley too! Umm the shot was like literally i think 5 secs long where his eyes look really intense blue before they cut away to a different shot, i think its either in the MAGIC interviews or the WORKS interviews i believe. Ill have to watch it later and repost to confirm cuz i havent watched it in a few weeks... too much homework! |

I have found the "interview" and i would like to recant that, it was not in an interview or even in the MAGIC or WORKS sections for that matter. Its in the MAKING OF THE MIRACLE VIDEOS section, right after the end of the making of I WANT IT ALL when he says PINEWOOD STUDIOS 35th video, its a really short second, but tell me thats not an awesome shot! |

yeah,i think you're not the only one person to ask that.I never understand it too,but you know...sometimes people with light colour eyes have problems with the lights,and i think that's the reason why roger wear his sunglasses even on stage.i think it coz i have light colour(sorry i don't know if it's the right term coz i'm italian)eyes and i have this kind of problem. regards,alessia |
