In December I'm going to london to see the WWRY musical.
Now I'm planning on a flight home to depart at 6.45 am, the morning after the show. I need to be there a couple of hours in advance so I would like to go to the airport with the last bus and spend the night at the airport. Does anyone of you know if this is possible, or are you being kicked out after midnight (or whatever time)?
You can sleep in the airport, it's not a problem. It's very safe because policemen are there the whole night.
The only thing: take care that you do not miss the last train from Liverpool Street Station around Midnight because you will be stranded in London until 3 in the morning with hardly any pub open. Even the train station closes at midnight!! Hard to believe for a metropolis but true. If you are several people, consider a taxi back to the airport instead of train or bus.

Thanks very much for your answer, thats more like it. But aren't pubs opened until later, I thought this law just changed a couple of weeks ago?
I'm together with my girlfriend, so I guess public transport is less expensive then a taxi.
Anyway, thanks again for your answer!
Nice :) Maybe you will learn to drive on the right side of the street during the rest of the century!
Last time I stayed over in London with no hotel room and an early flight was in March for the QPR Brixton Academy concert and there was no open pub near the Liverpool Street station. The last train to Stansted had left shortly before midnight and the first night bus left at 3 in the morning. There was a small coffee shop type dirty little hole with no toilets and no heating where we waited for 3 hours:)

From what I've seen so far most of them didn't...
Well, 1 nice pub would be sufficient already. Even if it's the train station bar or something. As long as I can sit down and drink a couple of beers, it's fine with me.
But I guess it'll turn out allright, after reading these posts.

the train station CLOSES at midnight:) Hard to believe but true. No bar, no waiting hall, just closed gates.

Ah, crap, you already mentioned that in your previous post. Forgot it already.
But ik looks like there should be at least something opened. So I guess it turns out all right.
