K, so can anyone actually narrow it down??
If I had to, I'd say 'Who Wants To Live Forever' from Wembley '86. In fact, listening to it right now... so much emotion in that performance... sigh
Or maybe "Show Must Go On"... he sounds beyond amazing in that song...
Share your thoughts people... Share the magic that was Freddie
love emma xxx
A/N: best song he wrote? Its gotta be bohemian... though dont stop me now is a close second.

I think the best song vocally is 'The Show Must Go On'. I can't imagine him singing that in the 70s fair dos it hadn't been written but his voice wouldn't really suit it, ok I'm rambling but definitley that and 'A Winter's Tale'. I think that has the most beautiful lyrics for a Queen song. It really paints a picture, he's been handed the brushes and painted everything into a song. It's beautiful. His voice is brilliant on all the songs and I love most of them. I love how he sings' Is This The World We Created?' live when he sings it then on the little chrous part he talk-sings it. I love it.
imo there's so many we can think of, but in honesty if were talking about pure passion and real emotion then it has to be the show must go on, i also like winters tale and mother love,
i think the song exercises in free love from the mr. bad guy album. even if it has no lyrics. it really caputures his wonderful voice.
i love you freddie!

I agree, Somebody to love at the bowl is f**king brilliant (of course that song is always brilliant). My favourite songs WRITTEN by Freddie:
*Bo Rhap
*Somebody to love
*Liar
*Made in heaven
*Crazy little thing called love
*Death on two legs
*Made in heaven
*In the lap of the Gods...revisited (LOVE the lyrics)
*Seaside rendezvous (it's so cool)
*Don't stop me now
*You take my breath away
Yeah... that was a few... :)
Vocally I think One Year of Love is great... and Princes of the universe... It's late, Made in heaven, Mother love, My melancholy blues, Innuendo, The Show must go on, and many more... It's just impossible to say just one song.
