No, come on! There really is one there! Cause when Sonic is running around, one could say he's going "crazy" trying to get the rings and all that, I mean the MAGIC RINGS, and when he hits that thing where he gets all sparkly, that's like STONE COLD CRAZY right there, y'know! Come on, right? Right?!

I personally equate Sonic more with Headlong than with SCC.
That's more of a First-Person-Shooter kinda thing, I guess.
Sonic the Headlong...heh heh heh...
To be honest, no particulat Queen song sticks out as related to Mario, but Freddie did kinda look like a Mario Brother when he had the 'stache...
The first Ninja Turtles game for the NES (i'm going waaaay back to 89 here!) had a level whose song was basically a note for note transcription of Stone Cold Crazy IIRC. link
Im probably the only person here who rememebrs video games from that far back...

Ahhhh!! I still have that game AND my NES is working just as good as ever.
I remember that song, but now I'm gonna have to play the damn game to hear it again.
It DID suck, but it was too adicting to just let go of.
As for the actual question, I think Radio GaGa most reminds me of video games - nothing in particular, though. Not a very interesting answer, huh?
ps. Billy Joel's 'Pressure' is a great song to listen to while playing old nintendo games.

Nope! I remember as well! I was actually going to post about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I saw the thread name, but it looks as though you beat me to it. Though, it was the opening to the game and not a level...
...God help me, I'm a geek.
[EDIT] Someone else also beat me to it... :p
Yes, Invisible Man is very evocative of early video games. Just here the bleeps and other synth noises in that song. For the video, they even become computer game characters.

Yeah, that with Invisible Man for the stealth and maybe one vision for when you do the motorcycle parts with Eva.
But when me and my friends want a good time we rock out to headlong while playing Dynasty Warrior 5.
The Game is my standard for GTA.
And songs like Innuendo, Who Wants To Live Forever, The Prophet song- Great for one of the best games ever Romance Of The Three Kingdom
