Freddie on Axl
| greaserkat 29.09.2005 00:32 |
I dont remember if it was here or somewhere else that I read it but is it true that Freddie was once asked if he would like to meet Axl Rose, and his responce was something like "Yes, so I can spit on his face." Of course if he was asked this it must of had been during thr late 80s. Can anyone confirm this? |

yes i read it on here too, i dont know what interview its from, |
| darkblue 29.09.2005 10:34 |
does anyone know,or think that he knows why freddie said that? |
| teleman 29.09.2005 12:44 |
Don't know if he really said it but I heard the same thing after GnR released the song 'One in a Million' which included the following lines "Immigrants and faggots They make no sense to me They come to our country And think they'll do as they please" Brian apparently has no problem with Axl so it is possible Freddie didn't say it and/or didn't care |

Axl Rose is a washed up mess, if he ever comes back I'll be very shocked and hell just may have frozen over! Kriz ;o) |

i like the interview of freddie in 89 saying he could of done the duet much better than george michael when he sang with aretha franklin, and roger agreed lol i know its nothing to do with axl but its just another tit-bit lol |
| sexmachine 29.09.2005 15:34 |
axl who? |
| darkblue 29.09.2005 16:24 |
I can't remember what it really was,or if axl ever said it(I couldn't find any quote)but I guess that soe time ago he sad something offensive about slavic people, the Jews, and black people...I think it was he's way to be popular to insult whoever he could..but now really who cares.. |

The thing about Axl was in 1989. |

If Freddie really said that I'm surprise that Axl still worshiped Freddie and treated him as his Idol. I also wonder if Queen was involved in GnRs albums (Use your Illusion I & II) I noticed that on the credits they mention "QUEEN", have you guys noticed that? |

Shoot, when I saw the topic I thought it was going to be a pic of Freddie ON TOP of Axl.. DAMN... |

I remember hearing about Brian May working on some tracks on the long awaited Chinese Democracy a few yrs ago (maybe 5 or 6 now, damn I've been on the internet a long time). Axl didnt make the comments they were in a song, something about immigrants and faggots getting out of his way and not making any sense to him and niggers staring at him or something. He says One in a Million is about arriving from small town USA to a huge city like LA and the culture shock involved (not his words, paraphrasing he didnt put it that eloquent hehehe) I don't know, the fact that nigger and faggot is in his vocabulary says a lot about the guy. He's obviously whacked out of his skull judging on the last 10 yrs or so, so really who cares but I would like to know when/if Freddie said that because it doesn't seem to fit the time line. He probably didn't say it, it's like that comment Elvis never said about "the only thing a nigger can do for me is shine my shoes" which people still attribute to him. |

Another point in Freddie's favor as far as I'm concerned. |

Axel Rose is really a sick guy. He had a lot of talent and they had a great group, but he destroyed everything. Nobody at the end were able to stand him...he should really consult a shrink... |

Brian is a money grabbing looser he played for Axl cause nobody knows him and his CDs suck. He is a disgrase for disrespecting. Freddie is Queen RIP 1991 |

yes g+roses were a great band at the beginning until axl's nasty ego took over, i read recently that slash and the rest of the boys are suing axl for lost earning or something (royalties) |
| dixie 30.09.2005 12:07 |
AXL nobody knows him and his cd's suck. your forgetting that he is one of the most arrogent rock stars in american history and GNR are one of the most legendry rock bands ever. my second fav band of all time. yeah of course no-one knows axl. FUCK OFF TWAT |
| bohemian 11513 30.09.2005 12:47 |
Guess Fred was as big a fan of Axl Rose as he was on Paul Rodgers! :-))) |
| Mr. Mercury 1975 30.09.2005 16:11 |
Actually One In A Million was a tongue-in-cheek editorial type song written about the backwards, scumbag, racist views that so many people still hold. It was widely misunderstood and portrayed Axl & Company as a bunch of bigots as opposed to the commentary on the lack of real social progress in America. |

Dont think this is true. Axl was a HUGE fan of Mercury. He said that even when Freddie was alive. |

I don't know or care what Freddie or anyone else thinks of Axl Rose. Quite frankly, spitting on him is being way too kind. Overrated, rasping, douchebag. The Tribute Concert would've been heaps better if they'd hired Dio instead of Axl Rose. Christ. |
