Here in belgium Bohemian Rhapsody is the number 1 in the all time top100 since freddie's death.It must have been around that time when I first quee(thus with bohemian)I was only 6 years old or something(now I'm 19)and i must say :that voice:mamaaaaaaa Nothing heard anything like it!!Another early memorie is something I read in a magazine:freddie mercury says he has aids 24 hours before his death!!I tought:wow,who's that? I only figured out in 1999 who he was when my sister played i want to break free from an old LP called:Now this is music.I immediately loved this song and from that moment on I was a true queenfan first buying the greatest hits album and after that all the rest and always wanting more:-)Most of you know what I mean:-)My favourite album now is News of the world togeteher with The game,A night at the opera and Sheer heart attack.From the solo-work i prefer the freddie rarities cd from barcelona-sessions!!Freddie is my favourite member though I think they're all important and they're all unique. |

Here in England, although they are not recognised as much as The Beatles and U2 (Gawd I hate Bono), they are generally considered legends and 'The Greatest Rock Group Ever'. English people in general seem to jump more at Freddie Mercury than Queen as a whole, 'The Ultimate Showman', etc. etc. |

Bohemian Rhapsody, then We Are The Champions n We Will Rock You, later the whole Greatest Hits, however something from BoRap made me feel... dunno. Later I got the GHII and to these days I have the entire official catalogue. My favorite member is Freddie, well, all of them but, you know... I suppose I've always liked Queen; my dad listens to a lot of rock (we pretty much have the same taste in music) so I've heard them from a very early age. I didn't really start getting into them until I got into high school, before that I was (and still am) a huge classical music freak. I remember going somewhere with my mom and BoRhap came on, I listend so intently and liked it so much I went home and looked all through the cds we had around but found nothing. Then a short while after that I was at a rehersal and my friend started playing some Queen on his iPod and that night I started humming BoRhap to myself and my dad overheard (we were in some store) and he was inspired to go find greatest hits 1&2 right there. Favorite song: Don't Stop Me Now Been a fan since: I have always liked Queen, but it was in September 2006 I saw Shaun of the Dead for the second time. The scene that uses Don't Stop Me Now... I was just hooked with that song. So I decided to check them out, and hell, I'm glad I did. Now I am probably one of Sweden's most hardcore Queen-fans. |

Member-Freddie Album-A Night At The Opera Song-Killer Queen It's kind of a long story of how I got into Queen, but here it is: My oldest brother used to play Queen a lot at home, and I sort of liked it, but I was really young and didn't really appreciate music at all. Later, my brother gave me A Night At The Opera, which he had bought several years ago, as a birthday present, and then when he bought me Sheer Heart Attack about a week later, I decided to collect all of Queen's albums, and, about three months later, I had every one but Flash Gordon (which I still don't have 2 years later, fyi). |

Member - Brian May by far, and I love his solo work (Back to the light), one of my favorite albums, and outstanding talent, but compared to anyone else, all members are fab Album; Queen 2, I dont like this, it suggests I think queen got worse, which I dont. I suppose the songs mean more to me than on any other album. Song; usually March of the Black Queen, if im in a sad mood Misfire (always cheers me up), if im in a happy mood one vision. Turned me to Queen music, listening to greatest hits 1 while driving down to devon on a school trip, and just loved it, and it moved me in a way music never has done before. Each song provides a strong emotion, and their unique perception to rock, and how unique each song is. They are the onyl band I really like, other than REM, but I have very few of their music. Been a fan since that fateful geology trip to devon, like 2 years, but I have liked Freddie's Living on My Own since I ws a little kid (it was on my sisters favorite compilation, so I always made sure it got played, so one could say all my life, but thats pushing it). I live in sunny shropshire (its snowing at the moment, but still school :(. Everyone i know thinks a song has to be heavy to be good, and listen to what can be easily described as a perverted look at rock, thankfully I can look down at them). |

I was about 3 years when I heard We will rock you. When I was about 9 years I started to like queen by the greatest hits 2 songs and so by the age of 16 I've bought the albums such as Platinum collection, A kind of Magic, Innuendo, Hot Space, The Miracle & Made in Heaven. Those albums I like the best then the rest of it. My fav songs are Innuendo, The Hitman, The Show must..., Ride The Wild Wind, One year of love and many more. |
