What's the difference between a Presale and an All Access Presale??? Ticketmaster has both listed as going on sale on Friday. It's not the fan clubs fault, but yet again they are making a cock up of things. The press release even says to goto queenonline to view presale information. Please be courteous to your fellow fans -- open parking spaces should not be used for tailgating. Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in any area where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited. Please do not discard hot coals near vehicles or in plastic waste receptacles. Open fires are not permitted. Trash receptacles are located throughout the Sports Complex parking lots and near the Arena entrances. Please bag and dispose of your trash to make it safer for vehicles exiting the Sports Complex after the game. Ball playing and frisbee tossing in the Arena parking lots and roadways are safety hazards and are not permitted. Many injuries occur as a result of these activities. |

We should be able to meet up in the parking lots. Trying to get near one another could be a challenge. But w/ no NFL games taking place in Giants stadium parking should be less stressful. There won't be an additional 30-40K cars on the grounds. The worse case is 20K cars & thats not likely. Banners can help locate people, as well as cell phones as stated by Daniel I believe. I've got either my wagon or I'm going to try to borrow my step father's mini-van. I hate them but they are great for tailgating!! I have my grill ready to go. Who's bringing the keg?? If a large numbr of us park together they won't bother us about using spaces along side our cars. Don't forget the post concert party as well... |
Daniel Nester 29.07.2005 10:12 |
I forgot that MercuryArts is from the Delaware Valley, and knows New Jersey ways as well ...!!! That sounds good to me. I'm a bit out of practice with tailgating, but as opposed to a Madison Square Garden gig, in which we could all go to a bar and walk a few blocks to the concert, with the CAA I really do believe the pre- and even possibly post-gig party, the parking lot is the way. Perhaps someone should dredge up a map of the parking lot? I am bringing a friend who goes to 30-40 sporting events a year (yeah, one of them sports fans people), and ask what he thinks about all this tailgating stuff. I'm so looking forward to this. I missed seeing Queen at the Spectrum in 1982; I was 14 years old, and wasn't allowed to go by myself. Little did I know it would be 23 years until I got a second chance! |

The "QueenGate" Party ( tailgating to those not in the know...) will be held in the car park in front of the venue the day of the gig. Wear your Queen gear and bring all the signage/banners you want to draw attention to where the group is! Make this event FESTIVE! Also..be sure to bring some discs/tapes to blast some Queen Tunes...this is a must. Hopefully we will have some decent sound systems on site. I want my UK friends over there across the pond to hear it too!! Don't forget to bring some refreshments for everyone: food, snacks, drinks, a bartender ( cough) whatever! Try to think of things that are 'different"..not the common cook out items ( hot dogs, burgers, etc. Also, it would be nice if someone could bring some Vegan friendly items..veggie burgers, tofu, etc for those of us who are Vegetarian. I think it would be nice if at some point before we are seated that night we organize a big singalong outside or even perhaps inside before the show starts! This would freaking ROCK with the 600+ people we will attract! I'm sure we could get the volume up enough with all the voices for even the Band themselves to hear us in their dressing rooms! Can you imagine what a wonderful memory this would be for them? To do the FIRST US DATE in over 23 years..and before the show starts they hear us all singing along!! I think this would make a huge and heartfelt moment to them all..exspecially Brian!! What song would be best? Suggestions? What do you think? Sound good? Oh..and to "Iron Eagle"....i know you too!! (((((Sexxxyyy)))) Nice version you did this year on the dance floor...the famous "rug" was a nice touch too! |

To date, there has been real confirmed location per say except that "QueenGate" will be somewhere in the car park outside of the arena. WHERE exactly has not been decided. More then likely, everyone will just show up and those who arrive later on will spot the gathering from a mile away ( due to the rampant partying, loud Queen music, and smell of cooked flesh and warm beer) My advice for now....when you arrive at the Arean lot, just FOLLOW YOUR NOSE! :) |
