I spent my morning doing what most people were doing, being out of the church and on the net and phone trying to get Glasto tickets. Got mine and my friends at around 11, which was cool.
Anyone else going this year, cannot wait!
112,000 tickets sold out in less than three hours, not bad going!
Hopefully the touts won't be able to make a mint out of it with the ID checks going on.
The line up (rumoured) is fantastic. Apart from Sunday night - Kylie!!?!
Although I seem to be the only one interested, the line-up was announced today, and what a line-up it is! No Keane, but I saw them last week, so I can live! Just need to make sure Ian Brown headlines the Other Stage on Sunday, when I won't be watching Kylie!

'THE' Undertones? Magic. Try and catch KT Tunstall as well well fit.
I can't afford to go what with two Queen concerts and (hopefully) *whisper* going to Cardiff at Spring bank for a play-off final. I don't want to count my chickens as it were.......
Yeah, The Undertones. Would have made sense for them to be on The John Peel stage but still.
Spot on with Kylie, William. Problem is, unless you are either gay or a teenage girl, her music sucks!
you want your fix of Queen at that show... see Hayseed Dixie.. They'll do Fat Bottomed Girls.. and even one of Pauls songs.. Feel Like Makin Lunch.. I mean Love.. along with Big Bottom.. And some other cool stuff.. I hear they are even doing War Pigs now.. all in the style of Bluegrass..

Did you see Keane/Rufus Wainwright live, Leigh? I read they were touring together, which disappointed me that they weren't touring the US together!
Great line-up, tho, there are tons of artists that I am not familiar with.
Yeah, Wainwright was Keane's support for the European tour.
I suppose it wouldn't make much sense for them to tour the US together since Rufus Wainwright is quite popular there already and he's been around longer than Keane have.
But he needed more promotion in Europe therefore, supporting Keane must have been good for him.
He's going on his own European tour now and that can only mean that his album is selling.
I saw Keane last week (7th April) at a gig at the royal albert hall.
Support was Engineers (melodic indie) and Stephen Fretwell (one man band shite). Wainwright was support for their proper tour, not this one-off gig. Although I don't like him either.
I don't like folk style music and I thought Stephen Fretwell was boring as hell, Engineers were quite atmospheric but lacked any real edge.
Keane were awesome, though no where near as good as Franz Ferdinand on the 5th!

Who gives a shit about her music? Looking at the other acts, Kylie is the only one I'd pay to watch. Christ, the arse on it!
As for standing up to my knees in cowshit and mud, surrounded by a bunch of long-haired fucking Herberts pissing in my pockets - forget it. The dirty bastards.
Imagine the cut in my tax bill if we nuked the fuckers.
