I really want to take my kids aged 2 and 6 months to the Hyde Park gig .
Does anyone know whether I will have to buy tickets for them .
I tried to ask ticketmaster on their geneal number today but they denied all knowledge of Queen at Hyde Park.

As far as I know you will have link for general sale already on Saturday from link (which will probably lead to ticketmaster).
Actually, I just checked and this is the case right now. Presale starts tomorrow as you probably know and according to letter sent out "The General Sale for all the dates below starts at 10am Saturday 12th March 2005." (where dates below are Irsih gigs and those open air gigs announced this week).
First of all, congratulations for your second child :)
I do not know if you need a ticket for the kids but I would not take a six month old child to a Rock concert. They are really loud and an infant can be seriously hurt by the noise. The 2 year old must wear ear protection all the way through the show, otherwise the noise can hurt her, too. Actually, I don't think you do your kids a favour by taking them.
scallyuk, why didn't you think on your own that a kid of 6 months could have seriuos ear damages in a rock concert?were you awake when you wrote that post?
Does people think when it write something?
Just in case anyone wants to know the answer rather than complain about me taking my kids. The situation is .... Children under 5 are admitted free at parents own risk.
I know about the effects of loud noise on Hearing , I'm a trained acoustician . I was and am going to take all the requred prcautions including ear defenders for the 2 year old and baby. And keep them far from the stage and PA repeaters. The SPL isn't oing to be that high in Hyde Park these days given the local authority's history in handling noise complaints.
