Hello people, i have been well informed about the special and exclusive download coming very soon on bri's site it's so exciting i can't wait to tell you all what it is. My spy tells me the download consists of wait for it SHOCK HORROR a video interview with you've guessed it MR JOHN RICHARD DEACON on his decision to at last finally rejoin the band it said to contain footage of them meeting again and reminiscing over old times and talking about the tour. The person involved works on brian's site and news had been leaked out involving this starling announcement but it was to be kept under wraps apparantely we should know something by the end of the week possibly very early next week. |

I only have this to say. I know the type of person that I am, and I would never betray a confidence. As tempting as this bit of news is, I personally wouldn't have said anything about it, especially on this type of forum where things often get misconstrewed (don't know if I spelled that properly) most of the time. As friendly and accommodating as the folks at BM.com are (and have been to me personally), I have respect for them, and they have reciprocated and demonstrated this same respect for me. If the 'source' said something to me (believing it to be in confidence), I certainly wouldn't come running to post it here. But that's just me. |

I think the lesson to learn here is that you don't toy with people on a touchy subject. The thought of JD joining them? Priceless to the fans. As a queen fan may i had a very long serving one at least 20odd years i would be over the f****N moon if jd would rejoin the band it would feel more like queen with him in the band but i think it's not to be would be great though, but i still think tomorrow on the brits there will be an annoncement from bri or roger as they are giving out an award and i hope they receive one for best song for WATC we shall wait and see. Talk about severe overreaction. Quite frankly, if you were stupid enough to believe this windup you've only got yourself to blame now that you feel hurt. I'm all for Brenda's attempt to stir-up a bit of excitement on here. These kind of things happen from time to time, and at the very least inject a bit of much needed life and passion into the board. We, as passionate Queen fans KNOW that John won't be a part of this latest project, or any other future project for that matter. Brian's site confirmed that the announcement relates to a download. If John was to be confirmed as being on this tour, would it be confirmed by a download-only video from Brian's site, which has been promoted with a WWRY logo? No. I just can't see how people believed this, and I fail to understand the hatred being directed at Brenda for what he did even less. |

There appears to be a degree of hypocracy on this site. As I said in an earlier post, It was a good wind up, not carried on for too long and got a lot of people going. I suggest that you look at the names of some of the people who have slagged Brenda off, then take a look at the threads for John Deacons' supposed 'Man In The Shadows' release. You will notice that there are contributors who delight in spinning yarns to get the newbies going, who for some reason are crying foul and shame in this thread.
