I like them a lot. You should probably buy it to try it out if you like glam rock, that is :)
Well, ask yourself: Why is it 1. 99? :-P
No, but if it is that cheap you might as well get it!
I'll get it and try it out. This shop had loads of other CDs. Normally they sometimes have a few Queen albums close to that price. I bought my dad a Jini Hendrix CD which was an import from Germany. He likes it. It's a double CD and has all his rare recording from 1964-1967 including a great wah wah instrumental. That was in thier £1.99 sale.
Joe--
tell us what you think of the cd when/if you buy it :)
Yeah, I will. If i get it it won't be till Thursday. As thats when i'll next be going to the town of which i saw it.
I want to get an album from Mott The Hoople. I downloaded the song Alice awhile ago, but I just listened to it again yesterday and I thought it was good. I probably should take a break from buying CDs, since I'm completely out of room in my CD tower!

Get the 'Mott Live' album-released last year as a 30th anniversary special, got most the concert on it, you won't be disappointed. Its the tour I saw them on (one of my fave bands when at school)and incidently the show when Queen were support. You might want to try 'Mott'. Its good stuff they were a bit of a cult band I have to say. Ian Hunters solo stuff is pretty damn good ' Never Alone with A Schizophrenic' is a stunning album also.
Whoops goin' on a bit but hey I still listen and think of the days when I was a teenager ...take me back to the home please!!
To those curious about Mott ck out these tunes. All the way from memphis, born late '58,Roll away the stone. All the young dudes, written by Bowie for MTH.Early glam rock but still rocks hard. The reason the cd's are so cheap is that most of us old farts are trying to put our kids through college instead of buying Cd's .My collection is all vinyl so as long as the old turntable holds up I can revisit my teen years.Life goes by so damn fast.Enjoy every second.

I went to buy th MTH cd but they must have sold it. Well, next time i see it in a sale i'll buy it because hearing what you all have to say about them they sound like a pretty good band.
