I think Id love to be able to sing In my defence.. sometimes I think I even can.. but most of the times.. I cant reach all the high notes.. well if U sing them with program like van basco karaoke player.. U can adjust the pitch of note.. and make it singable.. Ill make something useable soon.. Most of the people has done their versions live acoustic instruments.. but there's no shame on doing Ur own version just along with a midi or kar. file ;)
i agree, it would be great to be able to sing somebody to love like freddie could. i would also love to be able to sing my melancholy blues and the millionaire waltz.
Very interesting question!
I like to be able to sing "My Melancholy Blues".
I love to sing classical Jazz numbers, so I also love to sing it because of its jazzy tastes.
The Show Must Go On
If I were able to sing this song, I would probably be able to sing any Queen song. Even Elton John can't sing this song and he's already got two chances to prove his talent.
In fact I also want to sing "Too Much Love Will Kill You", but I always find it so difficult to sing it to the end in some ways. It will take much skill to sing it. If I were a professional singer, I would sing it to dedicate it to him.
I also love Brian's version of it. It really makes me cry.
I used to sing Queen songs in Karaoke like Crazy little thing called Love,Radio Ga Ga,Who wants to live forever.Few weeks ago I sang Someboby to love in the original key and I had a standing ovation as a response...It's good to be a Freddie wannabe at times!
Well, if my singing was any good, probably the operatic section of Bohemian Rhapsody. And maybe the whole of A Kind of Magic album.

I would Love to be able to sing both Love of my Life and the Show must go on. Such Versitility!!
I can *almost* sing LOML well, but I certainly can't do anything like SMGO as well.
i can get pitch (not really high ones, but some) but since i have a husky voice (some see it as "sexy", I see it as fucking annoying!!) i don't actually know if it sounds alright. Also if i sing or talk for too long (this has happened so many times!) i lose my voice easily...and i cant scream without putting myself in greay pain later.
But i would love to be able to sing "Too Much Love Will Kill You", a few Roger Taylor songs because the whole husky thing going on, "Don't Try So Hard" (with a few pitch changes) and lots of others.
But the songs i would love the most to sing would be (these aren't Queen btw) "shook me all night long" by ac/dc, "nation of haircuts" by Roger Taylor and "driven by you" by Brian May. (note: i didnt pick the last two because they're "Queen" songs...but i actually really like them)
I used to sing karaoke, and I did a GREAT version of "Tie Your Mother Down", I even sang "Somebody To Love" once, and actually hit the high note... and was so shocked that I forgot to do the "Looooooove" part.. lol
I haven't sang Karaoke in a while. my old voice box aint what it used to be.. and that is a shame, I would love to sing again, and then, maybe, I can be asked to front Queen too.. I mean, if a Dried up old twit like Paul can do it, maybe perhaps I can too.. ok... that was just a joke...
Depends if you mean solo or back-up. Cuz truthfully, I wanna learn the Milton Keynes Bowl version of Stayin' Power on drums and find a band that's also into the idea. Fuck, that would be GOLD!!!
I'm Going Slightly Mad - that's the only one that I can't sing - some parts are just too low.
From the person who *consistently* wins karaoke and open mic competitions singing Bohemian Rhapsody (even the opera parts!!!)
Hey...maybe I can tour with Queen...
I would love to sound just like Freddie on "I want to ride my-" I just LOVE the way he sounds there! But as far as a song I would probably pick Don't Stop Me Now.
