I was listening to "All Dead All Dead" this morning & thought it would be appropriate. Ha Ha But I have often thought about this (well not too much - it is a bit morbid), and I would like "No-one but you" and "Who wants to live forever" or maybe "another one bites the dust" Ha HA - what about others - any good ideas? (Not that I am planning anything but I want people to know that I loved Queen one day when I am gone) |
LadyMoonshineDown 09.12.2004 20:10 |
Haha Another one bites the dust, eh? Only if I died in a shoot out, would that be appropriate. ;) Um...never ventured off into the morbid stage...not often anyway. I would probably just have Bohemian Rhapsody if anything because well, it would make people happy and shit.... But end on a sad tune. But what am I saying? GAH! I am thinking about a funeral. Geeez....thanks Karen for getting me all sad. haha. Cheers |
karen 09.12.2004 20:12 |
I just thought of another one, "Let me Entertain You" LOL |
Small Nob 09.12.2004 20:14 |
Bullocks. Have 'em play "Crazy little thing called love." Leave 'em dancing! |
karen 09.12.2004 20:15 |
Welcome Small Nob - you old thing you. |
My Melancholy Blues 09.12.2004 20:15 |
Hmmm...I've thought about it too, before. In my case...White Queen, March Of The Black Queen, Great King Rat, Liar, Big Spender( though it is not their original number) and Bo Rhap for the last number... |
LadyMoonshineDown 09.12.2004 20:16 |
Nah... Let the bastards pity you. You would have, afterall, died. So why not some pity? Haha, just kidding. Cheers and i would have endless chicken feasts at my funeral, lol. |
RockitPJ 09.12.2004 20:19 |
Keep Yourself Alive.... no wait.....Who Want's to Live Forever...no even better....Dear Friends.....Yeah Dear Friends |
Small Nob 09.12.2004 20:20 |
Hi Karen! And I'm not old. Oh wait... am too. How about playing "Flash", and puzzling the hell out of them? |
LadyMoonshineDown 09.12.2004 20:30 |
True. Cheers |
Melancholy Blues 09.12.2004 21:39 |
was it all worth it |
Saint Jiub 09.12.2004 22:16 |
I do not want a funeral. Funerals are a waste of money and time. |
Megamike The GREAT 09.12.2004 22:51 |
Another One bites the Dust.. and then be cremated and then flushed down a toilet.. people always say I am full of shit anyways.. Either that or replace the pepper in a restaurant with my ashes.. hehehehe.. |
djaef 10.12.2004 01:31 |
The entire A Day at the Races album, ending beautifully with Teo Torriate. |
deleted user 10.12.2004 01:58 |
Interesting Question...I would say Who Wants to Live Forever. |
deleted user 10.12.2004 02:26 |
I'd have 'The Miracle' on the speakers. I'll have the undertaker rig my cadaver so that it can dance to the music. |
rachael mae. 10.12.2004 02:56 |
For some reason I'd just love them to play We Are The Champions at my funeral. |
boy of destiny 10.12.2004 03:05 |
If I can include Brian May solo I'd go with Just One Life. If not then maybe Dear Friends. |
mrbadguy86 10.12.2004 03:20 |
Ofcourse that would be TAKE MY BREATH AWAY! thats one of the most touching song ever, I think! |
Mr Fred 10.12.2004 03:22 |
These are the days of our lives, would be nice |
brian_may_wannabe 10.12.2004 03:45 |

Salamon 10.12.2004 07:57 |
Did any of you see "man on the moon" staring jim carrey? I want a simlar funeral. Follow the bounching ball and the screen would have shown "Teo Toriatte" and then "Dear Friends" |
*goodco* 10.12.2004 08:10 |
If I could play a Queen song at my funeral, it would scare the hell out of those in attendance expecting to bury me. In which case, 'Resurrection' would be most appropriate. |
deleted user 10.12.2004 08:24 |
No-one but you it't the perfect song. Maby Who want's to live forever |
Serry... 10.12.2004 09:01 |
It'd be a great medley in loving memory of myself: Escape From The Swamp, The Show Must Go On, Spread Your Wings and then Was It All Worth It with Days Of Our Lives! |
Sonia Doris 10.12.2004 09:10 |

deleted user 10.12.2004 10:52 |
Lovely topic. I think I'd have to have Death On Two Legs - just to creep everyone out. And its not a very well known song, so they couldn't sing along either. |
bitesthedust 10.12.2004 13:17 |
probably in this order, I'd have: Innuendo White Queen (As It Began) Under Pressure We Will Rock You Bohemian Rhapsody Another One Bites The Dust |
Rick 10.12.2004 13:23 |
Bit of Dead On Time, 'You're dead!', then God answers with thunderbolts and lightning, and then you hear: 'Anyway the wind blows...', and then 'BOING!', it ends with the gong. |
Dubroc 10.12.2004 14:36 |
What Queen song would you play at your funeral? When I'm dead I can't play anything anymore... My girlfriend would like to hear: - Love Of My Life - These Are The Days Of Our Lives - The Eye/piano version of You Take My Breath Away - Nevermore (my fav. song) It's not important what I want, but what my relatives and friends want. I won't be hearing it. |
Dubroc 10.12.2004 14:42 |
If she dies I would like to hear the same songs. For a non-Queen song: Sometimes It Snowes In April - Prince |
KillerQueen840 10.12.2004 14:47 |
I would want "My Melancholy Blues" played at my funeral. |
Zaid 10.12.2004 15:15 |

djaef wrote: The entire A Day at the Races album, ending beautifully with Teo Torriate.Yeah, it'd be incredibly funny to open up a funeral with 'Tie Your Mother Down', wouldn't it? LOL! One of these days, I'm going to slip that in as a prank......... Only if the deceased had a good sense of humor, of course. ;) I'm not sure, though, for me, maybe 'Who Wants To Live Forever' and 'The Show Must Go On'. |
lottie88 10.12.2004 21:13 |
I would probably play All Dead All Dead. When my dad died about a month ago I played it constantly in my room, and even convinved my mom to let me play it at his funeral. Something about it is just so sad and beautiful, it makes me cry. I was glad knowing that a band both my dad and I loved would be playing for him. |
Leech 11.12.2004 03:48 |
Procession? Nevermore? See what a fool I've been? Death on two legs? Was it all worth it? Sure: The show must go on. |
goinback 11.12.2004 05:01 |
Actually I want "Goin' Back" played...it makes me cry :) Before that I was going to have all of Dark Side Of The Moon with a laser show but that might be expensive.... |

Lord Blackadder 11.12.2004 10:19 |
The Show Must Go On going in. Then as the curtains close and my corpse gets roasted, I'd like abit of Spread your Wings I think. |
darkog14 11.12.2004 11:29 |
Well it would be cool to have 10 minutes of silence and then sudendly bang!!!: "Stone cold crazy" to scare some people!!! then "who needs you" and finish with "dear friends" |
Mr Coolest Cat 11.12.2004 12:27 |
All Dead, All Dead Another one bites the dust |

markaw 12.12.2004 17:45 |
It would have to be White Queen-its moving and his voice is top notch in getting over some emotion, yeah morbid but hey I am quite old!!! Yeah I'm biased because anything from II would suffice-fav album. I know its nothing to do with this but the fan who video'd Seven Seas TOTP (Bo Rhap story) anyone else got it? is it about on the air somewhere? |
bassist08 12.12.2004 19:43 |
Hmmm. That's definitly a tough one. I'd play Love of my Life simply because it's one of my favs and Friends will be Friends too. I also wouldn't mind having the entire Night at the Opera cd played. I love that album. And for a non-queen song I'd play Take this Job and Shove it. cheers |
carboengine 13.12.2004 13:20 |
Made In Heaven - Freddie's solo version. |

MamaQueen 14.12.2004 19:58 |
Those were the days of our lives for my funeral. I wasn't a Queen fan when I got married, but I would have chosed Crazy Little Thing Called Love. |
brian_may_wannabe 15.12.2004 11:25 |
I also like to have Friends Will Be Friends, The Miracle, Innuendo and Don't Try So Hard. |
