Hi,
a few weeks ago a came across the EMI Publishing website, while surving the internet. Searching for Brian May on this site gave an extensive list of songs he (co-)wrote. After elimination of the the released songs (at least to my knowledge), translations, or 'collaborations' with hip-hop/rap artists I ended up with the following list of songs:
4A Wreck (with Paul Ayres)
A Heart Problem
A Man For Life
Bring On My Own
Change
Dale In Harem
Doctor Heal Thy Self
Dr. Giggles
End Title Playout
Fanfare (with Freddie Mercury)
Fight And Flight Pt. 1
Fight And Flight Pt. 2
Flash Beaten
Flashes
In Memoriam (with Freddie Mercury)
Jenny Talks To Max
Let Heather Go
Lighting Field
Live Forever
Loony Bird
Main Title
Ming Spiked
Fun At The Funeral Parlour
Golden Days
Have A Heart
He's Not Dead
It's A Hard Business
Magruders Flashback
Mirror Maze
Re-Opening Case
Road Games
Sin Control (with Deacon, Mercury and Taylor.)
Solid Steel Rock School
Thanks Flash
The Cops Search
The Doctor's In
The Gentle Blue Pill
The Kurgan Prepares
The Rescue
The Stretch Theme
Throbs
Tivoli Street
We Are What We Eat
Any suggestions/ideas about their origin? I'm kinda curious. Some seem to have been written for the Flash Gordon ST, the Highlander ST or other soundtracks.
Greetz, ZGeest
ps. I almost forgot. The website is link.
On a first glimpse (I have no time to go through that- maybe someone else?) parts of it it's by DIFFERENT BRIAN MAY- Australian guy, who was writing some film scores (Mad Max, Dr Giggles, etc.). He's dead, BTW.
IT's well possible that these are all songs which were copyrighted but never used or even recorded. Still, the songs are protected under copyright law - just in case.
>> Bring On My Own
Quite sure this is "Being On My Own", the piano reprise of Business on the end of the AW album
> Fanfare (with Freddie Mercury)
> In Memoriam (with Freddie Mercury)
This is from David Palmer's Symphonic Queen Tribute - basically a medley of Queen tracks I think .
> Fun At The Funeral Parlour
> The Stretch Theme
> It's A Hard Business
These were used on British tv 2 or 3 years back.
> Golden Days
Minako Honda single. Written & produced by Brian + guitar.
Some of these maybe other people's songs with Queen samples included?

Dr. Giggles is by the Australian Brian May. Some others might be as well.
Most of it seems to be incidental music from Flash Gordon and other film productions. I'm sure we've heard most of them, but they don't appear on the soundtrack album (with different titles maybe).
Original Sin (written by FRJB) looks interesting though.
This site is great. I've finally found out Spike's real name: Philip Edney.
The Cops Search
The Doctor's In
The Gentle Blue Pill
Sounds like these are from Dr Giggles
Jenny Talks To Max
Magruders Flashback
Sounds like Mad Max
Alot of those tracks due sound like incidental music from a score and are most likely the Aussie Brian May.
WTF is going on with Say It Ain't True being written by Bri, Rog, Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers?
Where the hell did that come from? If that was the case, we surely would have heard it about, wouldn't we?
I don't own the CD or DVD of 46664, but is there a credit for this song on there, and if so, what is it?
