Ashlee Simpson is definitely overrated. Everyone's always on about how talented she is, and what rebellious rock n' roll talent she's got. I have to wonder if she'd ever have gotten into the business without her sister, though. Another semi-overrated one is Hilary Duff, and I say semi because the majority of sane people hate her. Just the fact that she was given a recording contract proves just what a factor celebrity is, since she's lacking any musical talent whatsoever.
Anyway. Rant done for now. Let's just say I'm annoyed at certain artists lately. :)
Ashlee Simpson is rediculously untalented. She is trying so hard to be the "anti-Jessica". When I heard that song "Living in a Shadow" or whatever its called, I wanted to vomit. Poor Ashlee, growing up with a famous sister. How pathetic.
Just looked at the top 40 here in the UK and can honestly say that 99% of the "acts" I have never heard of. And of the ones I have I can say that Girls Aloud are definetely 1st class shit.
Oh God... isn't anyone already sick and tired of these talentless pop tarts?
Not only they're absolutely dreadful, but they have to get their even more talentless siblings record contracts as well.
Just to mention a few...
Jessica Simpson
Ashley Simpson
Hillary Duff
Haylie Duff
JoJo
Lindsay Lohan
NOW FEAR THIS...
Paris Hilton is coming out with a solo album as well. God, she should have stuck to porn.

errrm, think you misunderstood her intentions - i don't think that's what she meant by "getting a release out on 12 inches" -
Tell me about it...
I work with this guy who listens one of those crappy Top 40 pop, hip-hop, and R&B stations.
I swear, everyday they would play that fuckin' song like 10 times.
During lunch at my school, there's a stereo and we're allowed to listen to the radio. For some reason, all the popular people decided that we all have to listen to rap/hip-hop. My friends and I got fed up with it, so we changed the radio station (although in my opinion, it wasn't much better, cause most of my friends like alternative/heavy metal) and everyone got pissed off. One girl even called my friend a bitch. One of these days, I'm going to put on classical music, just to freak everyone out. I wish I could put on oldies... but even my friends don't like that. :'(
I like Maroon 5... they're like today's Duran Duran. Their album 'Songs About Jane' is superb.
Although I have to say 'She Will Be Loved' is too corny. They play that fuckin' song too much.
I also find Hoobastank annoying... but at least you gotta give those bands some credit for writing their own music.
I'm sick and tired of skanky pop stars who consider themselves "songwriters" just because they can come up with lyrics... and theirs are just awfully dumb.
You realise the five is their combined I.Q, not that number of members in the band, right?
Mind you to give them credit...they're absolute cocksuckers. There. I said it.
Each to their own.
Blink 182 are teh suxxor.
