Was gutted when I heard. Hes had it tough for the last 9 years, Though he continued to battle against his paralysis. I loved those films when I was younger. RIP Superman.
Agree with you, FriedChicken... Hope the foundation he was setting up will be able to survive to him and give its contribution to the cure of spinal cord-related handicaps...
R.I.P.
Sometimes I think that living under the conditions that Christopher Reeves had is too sad, and perhaps God chose that this poor man has had enough suffering already.
However, I believe that Christopher Reeve lived longer to become a leader in the crusade for helping those who have become victims of paralizys like himself. Now that he's gone Christopher wouldn't have wished anything more than keep working towards stem cell research.

I've always been a fan of his. This is very sad news indeed. :^(
I was shocked when I heard the news this morning!
Been a huge fan of him and especially the Superman films. I was in love with him when I was little. ;-)
He was not just Superman in the movies, but also in real life because since his accident he did not just fought for his own health but also for many other disabled people and he encouraged them.
RIP

Absolutely true.
Godspeed, Christopher 'Superman' Reeves.
I'm gutted. He WAS Superman. My fave film. We've lost Jor-El and Superman this year. I somehow never expected Chris Reeve to die. Rest in peace feller, you were an inspiration to millions.
I watched a special 20/20 episode last night on his death. It was very sad. It was amazing how fast overnight that show gathered information and lined up interviews.
