I was just informed that the brother of a close friend has died in, you guessed it, Iraq. I don't know what to say to him, and frankly, I think it would be best not to say much of anything right now. I can't imagine what it's like going through that. I don't want to have to find out.
What I can't stand anymore is watching that smarmy little buffoon on the television go on about how "we" are "winning" the war, when other people's kids are out there dying for his war every day. There is no "we", there is only THEM.
So, if you live in the United States and are of voting age, since I can't do it myself, I'm asking you - PLEASE vote for John Kerry. I will be working my ass off in the next several days, but there's only so much I can do. I'm not ready to deal with Bush for four more years.
darn sure not charles baer™ wrote: Kerry will be no better , don't kid yourself , he will put MORE troops over there , Geeks
Well, we can't know that until we elect him. If he doesn't hold up to his promises, you can be quite sure I'll be working against him in the 2008 election.
I'm very sorry to hear. Two of my cousins are fighting out there too. One of them had a very close encounter where the area that she worked at got bombed luckily when she was off-duty. I feel/hope Kerry's chances are high. He has definately been doing much better at all of the debates.

That 14 year old has shown to be a lot more mature than people like you, who just simply believe that the fact that someone is older will always mean that they're wiser.
What else can you expect from someone like you who has no life and wastes too much time spamming people's e-mails and message boards just to insult people. That shows a lot of maturity doesn't it?
Single? No, not right now, friend. Not for upwards of a year. If you were trying to make me dissolve into tears, you failed miserably.
By the way, thanks, Dan.

You fuck! Don't you dare talk to Mandy like that! She knows more about shit than you ever will...
I'm a Republican from my head to my toes and I'll tell you right here, I've learned more about being a good Republican from Mandy, a liberal, than I have from anyone else, so you just shut your fucking mouth.
So frankly, JohnnyAppleMan, before you open your goddamned mouth, why don't you realize you're talking to someone a hundred times smarter than you'll ever be?
you don't know me.
Everyone here knows you, quite frankly we are all waiting for you to just drop it and leave, Im sure geeks has more smarts and common sence in her pinky then what you will ever have.
Yea, Sorry to hear about your friend Geeks, I know there is not much you can do, but if you feel you need to talk to him, you can always call him up and say that if he ever needs some one to talk to you will be there for him.

Do you know me? I can certainly be a prick, but it doesn't mean I'm stupid.
Osama Bin Laden went to college, he knows more than you, but he's a prick. He must be stupid.
No, a smart prick knows when to keep his mouth shut. Obviously you lack this ability, asshat.
Wow, guys, I'm really flattered. Thank you. You too, Chuck, my friend.
Well, looks like Johnny Whatshisface has bid us good riddance at any rate, so we can stop worrying about him.
Back to the original point of the topic - Jason (aforementioned friend) seems to be doing better than expected. Said he's just glad his brother wasn't made to live as a vegetable. Is, however, extroadinarily pissed at Buffoons, Inc. in Washington and as anyone who's seen Fahrenheit 9/11 knows, he's not alone.
And I just caught this incredibly cool-looking bug. I'm not sure what kind it is, though.
