Suddenly noticed all those ppl that 2-4 weeks ago (literally!!!) were newbies themselves and were bashed (usually they did deserve it...) are now trying to put themselves as "oldtimers" by bashing those with a bit lower counts... I mean- they have 100 (or 400) posts now- wow! And they've been for a month or two- woooow!!!! Forget about the fact that it was NEVER about the post count or about being a newbie or royalty but about posting stupid or irritating things- well, they still think it was because they were newbies and so now they're picking on others as wel, thinking "that'll mean I'm cool..."
How hilarious and...
...how pathetic...
Have you guys noticed that?
Hello !
I'm here since more than 2 years but I write very few post. Before I had another login but I lost my password so I had to change. Sometimes I write stupid topics but it is just for fun, not for growing my number of post (like other people here). I write some post when I need a info on something about a song or an event... I wonder how some people can have made more than 14000 post !!! I don't think i'm the person who knows the most Queen but i think i'm good. Since 1989 when i became a queen fan (i was born in 1980), I've bought all the album in CD , all the live in cd, VHS and DVD, all the solo album in cd (and the freddie solo collection), now i buy the queen album and the singles in vinyl and books about queen, and i have many concerts on mp3 (not a lot, just 50); so i consider i'm a good queen fan. the number of post don't count.
Many people here have a lot of post but they are searching mp3 of album track !!! Why don't they buy the album ? I know it's expensive, and for me it took 10 years before i had all the album; but i have legal things!
So newbies, if you want to be good fan, don't be arrogant, buy the album, and listen queen music.
Bye
Seb
Yeah I've noticed that. People like "I can't spell but still I call my self Drs." DAJA and ThomasQuinn (+ others) been here for nearly 2 months and they're acting like they've been here for waaaaay longer.
I haven't been here for long, maybe 5 weeks, but I have always defended newcomers regardless of the integrity of their questions. I believe that anyone should be able to ask a question without harassment as long as the question does no harm (although many people do feign such harm when none exists).
Mind you I was in the Queenzone community long ago, and just recently refreshed my participation. Anyway, I think my post count is more because I am often really busy on the computer, rather than my lack of a life. :P
Hi !
My actual account is as old as MexQueen one (same yr, same day, wow !) But I prefer writing interesting subjects and English is not my native language. I don't know if I am still perceived as a newbie, viewing my low post number.

December 6th 2002 if i'm not mistaken??
or was it another day?
I became aware of the existance of this page even before the Queen.net and the QueenRocker boards crashed, around 1999-2000. It was a small page with a few pictures and a news archive, with "The Game" images. Then the board came and it became alive.
I visit frequently, almost on a daily basis because I think it's the best way to comment or read comments about various Queen related topics. I don't post very often, as you can see. I just posted many years ago when we played the "Guess the song..." game for the first time and on a couple of other times when I uploaded the original version of "Let Me Live".
As you can see and many others have said, the number of posts has nothing to do with your knowledge of Queen or how mature you are. If I posted "Yeah, you're right" or "Welcome, newbie" everytime, I would have thousands of useless posts. I really enjoy reading this board, but I'm just too lazy to post every single thought that comes to my mind.
Anyway, it's great to be a part of this community, find out about the latest Queen related (and not so related) news and share music with other fans. I just love it, and not even the dumbest post by the most annoying person is going to change that. Long live Queenzone.com!
Sincerely,
Wiley
same than above.
