My favourite actor, totally! I bet you he's the only actor who can get me all teary, too - seriously, can you get a more charming little man? Let me get to the point anyway: Do you other QZers out there share my opinion? And if you don't, what's your reason not to like Robin Williams? I saw this photograph-movie with him today, you see. I can't rememeber the title, but it was about Sy the photoguy, a man who gets a bit too interested in some of his customers' lives and starts stalking a family. Very nice movie. Any others saw it? |

One Hour Photo (picture)? That rocked. Verily. |
| Mr Coolest Cat 22.08.2004 10:11 |
I can't stand all the dumb noises he makes in just about every film he makes, IMO, he's about as funny as toothache. |
| Mr.Jingles 22.08.2004 10:22 |
He's still 100 times funnier than Jerry Seinfeld, even though Robin Williams seems more like a clown than a stand-up comic. I like the guy, but sometimes I get tired that he plays the same character in the same movie. |
| iGSM 22.08.2004 10:40 |
I liked him in Mrs. Doubtfire. That's about all. And when he got set on fire by Joe Pepsi...heh. Ray Ramano is about as funny as a burning orphanage too..heh..those charred corpses.. |

He's damn annoying sometimes, but I can't help but like some of his acting. Yes, One Hour Photo is a fave of mine. Original idea and quite creepy. |

He reminds me of one of my college instructors. |

I like that song he made for A Knights Tale. His Swing When Your Winning album is perfect for a summer BBQ. His greatest hits is out this year. |

One Hour Photo was great, although it freaked me out. And Mrs. Doubtfire is a classic. He's hilarious. |

Oh, okay, the conversation has returned to normal, sentient comments. |
| SergeantPepperDG 22.08.2004 14:01 |
I love Robin Williams. Especially in Hook. |
| Mr Coolest Cat 22.08.2004 14:05 |
I think some people are getting confused between Robbie Williams the British singer, and Robin Williams the American actor. |
| Banquo 22.08.2004 14:42 |
Never!!!!!!! |
| Banquo 22.08.2004 14:43 |
That was sarcasm in tha last post for the hard of thinking people out there. |
| SergeantPepperDG 22.08.2004 14:48 |
I STILL don't exactly know who Robbie Williams is. I've heard about him, but not a lot. |
| Music Man 22.08.2004 15:04 |
I just remember him from that song "Millennium"...back when there used to be music videos on TV. |
| Flashman 22.08.2004 15:49 |
If I had my way, I'd stick Robin Williams, Woody Allen, Whoopi Goldberg, Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy in a big bottle of shit, carbonate it, cork it, shake it up and spray it into a vat of, oh I don't know, something ghastly anyway. Same fucking part in every film. |

I like him because he lives in San Fran and he loves the Giants |

He is pretty entertaining, Dan! If only the content of what he was saying was a little more interesting! ;^) |

He's got hairy arms like Robin Williams and everything! ;^) |

But he's bald and he wears glasses... LOL! |
| deleted user 22.08.2004 20:15 |
Yeah...but he's funny, so it evens out! ;^) |

I'm with Flashy on this one. Nothing pisses me off more when there's an actor who could be superb but picks ridiculous parts. Robin Williams was brilliant in Dead Poets Society and Awakenings. Brendan Fraser is another one. George of the Jungle my arse. |

Aaaah, yes. Dead Poets Society. Carpe diem boys, sieze the day. I liked that movie. Except for the cave part...who the fuck eats erasers? *eats an eraser* |

Well wow, there ARE people who dislike Robin Willams! And yes, it was One Hour Photo. Very good movie. I like Williams in all movies I've seen with him so far, I just find it sad that he takes the rather stupid comedy parts when he's also a terrific actor in movies such as One Hour Photo. |

he did a weird film in which his children died in a car accident and he died too and then his wife was suicidal. we saw him in heaven. 'what dreams may come'. I cry every single time i see it, its so beautifully made and acted. and i think his part played in it was flawless- he can seriously do both funny and serious parts. |
| Penis - Vagina 24.08.2004 19:39 |
I wanted to like that movie, but the idea that an already suffering and tormented soul would be sentenced to hell for ending their own life was a little too religiously influenced and a little too excrutiating for me to enjoy the film. |

He got an Oscar for Good Will Hunting. An excellent movie. |
