Is something true in that rumour that Brian and Roger are going to release an album with songs, both written by them and some Freddie's unfinished materials??
And if it's true, when will it be released??
Yes, entirely true.
The album will be called "The Show Goes On" and will include 3 new Brian compositions, 2 new Roger ones, 1 collaboration between them and 5 reworked, unreleased Freddie-tracks (1 of which was supposed to be on Made In Heaven, but didn't make the final tracklist). One of the tracks is called "Two Worlds Apart" and is a Freddie-track from the Barcelona-days - similar in style to It's A Hard Life.
John Deacon will NOT appear on this album. The bassparts are played by BM+RT, with Steve Barnacle on some tracks. Other guestmusicians include Spike Edney, Dave Stewart and Treanna Morris (who makes another appearance, after the "Invincible Hope" track last year for the 46664 album).
Rumours say that B+R will tour to promote the album and that the 1st half of the show will be them performing the new material + some of their tracks on old Queen albums (Tenement Funster etc) and that the 2nd half will be in similar style to the "Elvis" tour where Elvis voice/image is used through old video/audiotapes and his old band play live. I just hope they aren't going to play along to Live At Wembley...
