I hope it's good, as I'm in the younger generation.
So many people my age are obsessed with rap and hip-hop, and I had a mainstream music phase, but nothing compares to classic rock, I think.

although a lot of youngsters seem to go through a "rap phase"
agreed :) Its great having youngters getting into Queen IMO there the future of the fanbase
I have to say....I have never gone through a rap stage and at 15 i dont think I ever will......Rap isnt music.....Its just speaking quickly.....But queen is pure music.! Rock on :o)
"Indeed, Queen is way better than 90% of today's "music"."
Totally agreed :)

Indees! I think it's great that younger people are getting into Queen instead of shit acts like Eminem. I have loved Queen most of my life! I'm 21 by the way.
I think it is terrific that younger people are listening to Queen. I am 16 now, and I only discovered the true wonders of Queen a year ago Monday. It helped me break free from the trash circulating todays radio airways and discover the full potential and true meaning of music. Queen has helped me set a new standard when I chose different bands to listen to. I share my Queen experience with all my freinds in hopes that they will discover what music should and can be, when done properly and with passion.
I'm 35 and I am both proud and impressed that younger people are into Queen. My 14 year old son thinks this Earls Court concert is "wicked awesome". I concur.
Definately, I'm 13, but before I told my "peers" about Queen and showed them some of their music, most of them had never even heard of Queen. Sadly although Queen is my favorite band, not too many people (my age) in my area appreaciate Queen's music or know a thing about Queen's history. All they listen too is mostly rap crap. :(
I am 14 and proud to be a Queen fan. They offer something hard to find, quality entertainment with a meaning. So as long as that's what people are looking for there age doesn't matter.
I'm 17, and I've been raised on classical, jazz, and classic rock music, so I was fortunate enough not to go through a "rap" phase and I'm extremely proud to be a Queen fan. In fact, I've spent a lot of time introducing many of my friends to Queen and have created a sort of cult following among my peers, which is cool. The ones who "don't get it" or think it "sucks" are usually just narrow-minded homophobes who have been brainwashed by the media into thinking that old music is crap. Sad really, but there are still a lot of people my age who love Queen and that's a GREAT thing.
I've only been a Queen fan for a few months, and I'm 16. Grew up listening to classical music and stuff -- now I'm in love with all things classical rock. Far better than today's pop crap.
Yes, most definitely, it is VERY good that younger people are fans of Queen, even if it's by accident! There are sad accidents (becoming Marilyn Manson fans) and there are happy accidents, and Queen is about as happy (gay?) as you get! (ha!)
You people spreading Queen joy via word-of-mouth are doing god's work, btw... good on ye!
p.s. the happy/gay joke above is only an innocent play on words made by me, a gay dude. Don't be dim and try to make it into something ugly, 'cuz it ain't!
Peace!
I'm 23 and I've been a Queen fan for 13 years or so. I grew up listening to them, to The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Elton John, etc... because my mum is a music-maniac. I remember singing along to Purple Rain when I was 6 or so.
But I think it's great that even younger people are into them. It proves that there are still people out there with a good taste in music who don't take all this mainstream crap that the record companies throw at us these days.
I brought my first album in 1987 when I was 9. Ive been hooked since!! Im 26 now and Queen have probably become the biggest part of my life! Im not a Stepford though!! There is a life outside them!! I remember a school report from 1990, it said that my Attention was appauling in History but I had good taste in music!!!
I'm so happy reading all these post, I agree with all of you guys:)))) I'm happy there are so many young Queen fans out there, only wish there are more of them in my town:( But nevertheless, I'm 19 and extremely proud of being a Queen fan. Nothing compares to classical old rock, and Queen are Queen of it in a literal sense. They've been the soundtrack of my life since I was 5 or so when I met their music for the first time. And I dare to say they are one of the best (if not the best)things that ever happened to me. Rock on guys, we are the champions!! :))
I am 19 and I am happy to say I met a lot of younger girls and boys who discover Queen. I even made my best friend listen to them.
QUEEN IS THE BEST OF ALL!!!
