| deleted user 09.07.2004 15:17 |
And Im 15....SO i think its great. |
| inu-liger 09.07.2004 15:18 |
Definitely. I'm 18 as well :) |
| agneepath! 11994 09.07.2004 15:20 |
well it proves young people (or teenagers) can have decent taste in music. although a lot of youngsters seem to go through a "rap phase" |
| Gunpowder Gelatine 09.07.2004 15:24 |
I hope it's good, as I'm in the younger generation. So many people my age are obsessed with rap and hip-hop, and I had a mainstream music phase, but nothing compares to classic rock, I think. |

| Pim Derks 09.07.2004 15:26 |
Indeed, Queen is way better than 90% of today's "music". |
| deleted user 09.07.2004 15:27 |
I have to say....I have never gone through a rap stage and at 15 i dont think I ever will......Rap isnt music.....Its just speaking quickly.....But queen is pure music.! Rock on :o) |
| Mayboy 09.07.2004 15:30 |
"Indeed, Queen is way better than 90% of today's "music"." Totally agreed :) Thats great news Mrs.Badguy what every u do dont resort to the low that is rap music ;) |
| TheMiracle 09.07.2004 15:31 |
I'm 16 and damn proud to be a Queen fan. The younger generations help to keep this wonderful music alive through the years |
| Josuè 09.07.2004 17:22 |
I'm 18 and since I was 5 Queen has been part of my life so... I think it's good, at least to me cause my life wouldn't be the same without Queen. |
| Daburcor? 09.07.2004 17:34 |
Pim Derks wrote: Indeed, Queen is way better than 90% of today's "music".Indees! I think it's great that younger people are getting into Queen instead of shit acts like Eminem. I have loved Queen most of my life! I'm 21 by the way. |
| lottie88 09.07.2004 18:34 |
I think it is terrific that younger people are listening to Queen. I am 16 now, and I only discovered the true wonders of Queen a year ago Monday. It helped me break free from the trash circulating todays radio airways and discover the full potential and true meaning of music. Queen has helped me set a new standard when I chose different bands to listen to. I share my Queen experience with all my freinds in hopes that they will discover what music should and can be, when done properly and with passion. |
| jericho05 09.07.2004 18:37 |
I'm 35 and I am both proud and impressed that younger people are into Queen. My 14 year old son thinks this Earls Court concert is "wicked awesome". I concur. |
| KillerQueen840 09.07.2004 18:54 |
Definately, I'm 13, but before I told my "peers" about Queen and showed them some of their music, most of them had never even heard of Queen. Sadly although Queen is my favorite band, not too many people (my age) in my area appreaciate Queen's music or know a thing about Queen's history. All they listen too is mostly rap crap. :( |
| freddie4ever 09.07.2004 19:08 |
I am 14 and proud to be a Queen fan. They offer something hard to find, quality entertainment with a meaning. So as long as that's what people are looking for there age doesn't matter. |
| Whatinthewhatthe? 09.07.2004 19:15 |
God, all of you make me feel older than dirt! (LOL) ANY age is a good age to discover Queen. I'm glad you did, you made an excellent choice! |
| the oppositionist 09.07.2004 19:22 |
yes, we youngies rock! |
| deleted user 09.07.2004 19:24 |
I don't. |
| Rainmaker750 09.07.2004 22:16 |
I'm 17, and I've been raised on classical, jazz, and classic rock music, so I was fortunate enough not to go through a "rap" phase and I'm extremely proud to be a Queen fan. In fact, I've spent a lot of time introducing many of my friends to Queen and have created a sort of cult following among my peers, which is cool. The ones who "don't get it" or think it "sucks" are usually just narrow-minded homophobes who have been brainwashed by the media into thinking that old music is crap. Sad really, but there are still a lot of people my age who love Queen and that's a GREAT thing. |
| SergeantPepperDG 09.07.2004 22:30 |
I've always loved old(er) music. I'm been a fan of the Beatles over two decades since they broke up, over a decade after John Lennon was killed. |
| high-flying-adored 09.07.2004 23:31 |
I've only been a Queen fan for a few months, and I'm 16. Grew up listening to classical music and stuff -- now I'm in love with all things classical rock. Far better than today's pop crap. |
| GonnaUseMyPrisoners 10.07.2004 01:29 |
Yes, most definitely, it is VERY good that younger people are fans of Queen, even if it's by accident! There are sad accidents (becoming Marilyn Manson fans) and there are happy accidents, and Queen is about as happy (gay?) as you get! (ha!) You people spreading Queen joy via word-of-mouth are doing god's work, btw... good on ye! p.s. the happy/gay joke above is only an innocent play on words made by me, a gay dude. Don't be dim and try to make it into something ugly, 'cuz it ain't! Peace! |
| Matti 10.07.2004 01:33 |
me...only 14 years.......I think it's a good thing. |
| Sonja 10.07.2004 01:55 |
I'm 23 and I've been a Queen fan for 13 years or so. I grew up listening to them, to The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Elton John, etc... because my mum is a music-maniac. I remember singing along to Purple Rain when I was 6 or so. But I think it's great that even younger people are into them. It proves that there are still people out there with a good taste in music who don't take all this mainstream crap that the record companies throw at us these days. |
| Brian_Mays_Wig 10.07.2004 05:59 |
I brought my first album in 1987 when I was 9. Ive been hooked since!! Im 26 now and Queen have probably become the biggest part of my life! Im not a Stepford though!! There is a life outside them!! I remember a school report from 1990, it said that my Attention was appauling in History but I had good taste in music!!! |
| Little_Queenie 10.07.2004 08:53 |
I'm so happy reading all these post, I agree with all of you guys:)))) I'm happy there are so many young Queen fans out there, only wish there are more of them in my town:( But nevertheless, I'm 19 and extremely proud of being a Queen fan. Nothing compares to classical old rock, and Queen are Queen of it in a literal sense. They've been the soundtrack of my life since I was 5 or so when I met their music for the first time. And I dare to say they are one of the best (if not the best)things that ever happened to me. Rock on guys, we are the champions!! :)) |
| Whatinthewhatthe? 10.07.2004 10:10 |
Okay...I was 14 too when I heard my first Queen song, Keep Yourself Alive, in 1973 when it was NEW. And have been a fan ever since. |

My friends are convinced I was born in the wrong generation. |
| Sonia Doris 10.07.2004 12:25 |
I am 19 and I am happy to say I met a lot of younger girls and boys who discover Queen. I even made my best friend listen to them. QUEEN IS THE BEST OF ALL!!! |
