inu-liger 07.07.2004 15:11 |
The 15 year old description sure does fit. Anywho, to answer your question: Officially it was recorded in September 1991, according to Queen: As It Began by Jim Jenkins and some other tart whose name I can't remember By the way, make sure you don't double-post the same topic in the future, please and thanks EDIT: I could be wrong about the recording date :P |

Oooh! Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? ;) And Josue is a nice guy....rriiiiiiiiiigggghtt Josue? ;) |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:04 |
And Mrs.Badguy, I was only just teasing in a good way. It's an inside joke relating to a topic on another BB I sometimes frequent. (I'll explain later) I'm really a nice guy, but beware: I like Pokemon. |

"wots wrong with me being 15 ???" nothing wrong with it.but must be strange for a 15 year old (girl?) to like Queen... what do your friends think? Most kids here in the UK view queen and Freddie as "gay" but anyway Welcome to the board! |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:15 |
You're just 18, don't be that way. You're right. I'll just wait until I become an old fart and then start teasing the "young ones" on this board about....hmm....32-45 years from now? |
Josuè 07.07.2004 17:16 |
c'mon dark... |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:19 |
I'm just kidding, Josue! Or do you not share an English sense of humor, mi amigo? :) |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:20 |
Oh! By the way, Josue, did I tell you that I am officially going to be learning Spanish starting in September/October during my 2nd year of grade 12? :) |
SallyJ. 07.07.2004 17:32 |
but you all must admit, it's kinda funny that people who are not from UK or USA do their best to write in proper english to make themselves clear....and 15 years olds try to fuck it all up with words like wot and eva which makes it kind of hard and all to try and figure out what in the world they are talking about...but never mind me, I'm old, and probably old fashioned too, I like proper english, it makes it so much clearer what people talk about.... see, even not using capitals looks funny to me :) *glad to get that off my chest* |
Josuè 07.07.2004 17:36 |
I agree with Sally, I always tend to write properly. And Dark, it's okay, good for you, but spanish is not my language, it's catalan ;) |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:39 |
What's the difference? |
Josuè 07.07.2004 17:48 |
They're both different languages, though they have the same root: latin. And, they've grown in separate territories, catalan is the language of the Catalonia nation/no-official country (north-west spain). Quite hard to explain, but let me tell you that inside Spain, there're 3 nations besides the spanish one, though they're almost mixed: catalan nation, basque nation, and galego nation. |
deleted user 07.07.2004 17:49 |
Catalan is also spoken in southern France, the north-western part of Sardinia and Andorra (where it's the official language) |
Josuè 07.07.2004 17:52 |
Philip's right, very right. I'm very amazed, really!! I didn't write that cause I think I would be boring. And, if catalan was an official language on the EU it would be ranked as the 7th most speaked language... |
agneepath! 11994 07.07.2004 17:56 |
"....and 15 years olds try to fuck it all up with words like wot and eva " its a sign of the times. Part of the problem is text messaging on mobile phones. It encourages kids to use their own short hand language C U L8R |

And now the REAL answer to the question. This is what David Richards told a friend of me when she visited the Mountain studios a few months ago: Freddie recorded the last vocals of Mother Love and went home to London, saying he would come back for the last verse some other day. But he never did. 10 Days later David got a phonecall from someone (Can't remember who, but i thought it was Peter Freestone) saying Freddie was gone. So the last bit Freddie recorded was in the first weeks of November 1991. But maybe they started it in September (like Dark said). Cause Freddie was only available a few minutes a day. He would sing a few lines, and went back to his house |
inu-liger 07.07.2004 17:57 |
Oh I see. That's twice I've forgotten you don't speak Spanish :( |
Josuè 07.07.2004 17:59 |
Of course I speak Spanish dark, but I only say that it's not my main language. ;) |
deleted user 07.07.2004 18:02 |
Exactly. Catalan would rank higher than five of the current official languages of the EU (Greek, Swedish, Danish, Finnish and Portuguese). |

OIC |
high-flying-adored 07.07.2004 20:59 |
Very correct. I'm turning 17 in less than a month, and heck, 70's/80's music is practically all that I listen to on a daily basis. (It kinda makes sense, owing to the fact that most modern-day stuff really stinks. Putrid. Justin pee-in-my-hair Timberlake -- sorry, not into that.) Not to sound like a stupid teenager, but Queen does rock, even if I am too young to truly appreciate it. :) |
Wilki Amieva 07.07.2004 23:00 |
On October 18th 1991, if I remember well. |
deleted user 09.07.2004 15:13 |
My Friends think that me likeing Queen is Gay.....But I dont care What they think......Queen rock....and no matter how much I get teased about likeng Freddie I always will....... And look Im writing in proper English ! |
Pluto 09.07.2004 19:41 |
im 15 and a few of my friends like queen but the rest of them think that queen is a ok band and they respect me for listening to them and not listening to stuff that other people listne to just to be cool |
Hank H. 09.07.2004 20:19 |
Catalan: 6.5 million people as first and second language, modern Greek: 12 million, Swedish: around 9 million native speakers, Portuguese: around 10 million in Europe. And therefore there are of course more than six languages ranked higher, amongst them also: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish. Not that anyone cares anyway, but since someone started the topic… |
inu-liger 09.07.2004 20:20 |
No, Hank. It's very interesting. I never know these things. |
Hank H. 09.07.2004 20:41 |
Since you seem to be astonished that Josuè is bilingual, let me stress that the largest part of the world's population has two or more mother languages. The western industrial countries are an exception. But then again, Catalans (amongst some other peoples) are an exception of the exception. Of course the dominant countries have huge influence on the rest of the world and so the situation (sadly) changes pretty fast, small peoples are forced to abandon their original languages so they die out all the time. |
deleted user 09.07.2004 20:44 |
You're right Hank, it doesn't rank 7th any more, but there are still far more speakers than 6,5 million. It's nearing 11 million, as far as I'm informed it's ahead of both Portuguese and Greek (those 12 million speakers aren't all part of the EU). |
agneepath! 11994 10.07.2004 08:12 |
"Since you seem to be astonished that Josuè is bilingual, let me stress that the largest part of the world's population has two or more mother languages." Yup i agree 100%. English kids at school have a problem when it come to learning a European language -they can't see beyond the windows in their homes - into the real outside world. "Why do i have to learn poxy Spanish when i'm never gonna go there" is a typical English kids comment. |
