Besides Queen I also like some other bands, for example The Doors. I was wondering if there where any Doors-fans on this board. I'm going to the Doors of the 21th century next week in Holland. I never heard them play, so I was a bit curious about their skills in THIS century. And yes i know: The Doors Without Jim Morrison and John Densmore; is Like Queen without Freddie and John; but this is my only chance to see them in real life.
It seems that I like bands who are incomplete :S
When I was back there in seminary school, there was a person there who put forth the proposition.....
Boy, I smoked a lot of grass in the early 90's listening to that album...........
The Doors kick serious arse
Morrison Hotel is one of my favourite albums ever
I'm going watching them in Manchester in July
When you been to watch them let us know how they go ton
If you like the doors, you should check out a band called love from the same epoch, if you haven't already. Specially the albums forever changes & four sail

Finally someone my age agrees that he was hot. His voice was so sexy. I love the doors, a friend of mine burned me their greatest hits and its so good. Long live Jim.

Before this turns into a 'Ooh we all love Jim Morrison he was so hot' thread... I'd like to commment on the music...
It's... erm... very good. Pfft. Screw it. He was hot!
the bassplayer in my band saw The Doors 21th Century 2 weeks ago in Holland. He said they were great, and the singer did a great job, and didn't try to immitate Jim.
