I hope you actually listened Flashman. I'm sure it'll be a surprise.
First track. Well, while interesting and for the most part well mixed, the vocals are a little underdone. Something sounded wrong, like one thing was the first vocal from the guy was too bassy and yet, the rest sound quite the opposite. Nice production for this one.
And perhaps not the best takes for some of the guy's vox throughout. Listen the the "Do" and "Be" parts. But the girl at 3:11 onwards is the star, here. Great vocals from her. She's got something in her voice, I think, very stylish. Shame she wasn't mixed in as well the guy's part. Hmm...
Vocals on the 2nd track are a little less defined. The male and female duet bits need better separation. They clash a bit. The distorted guitars in the second track need compressed more and perhaps better preamps. They sounded like a basic line-in recording. No need to re-record, just route it back through an amp and it'll grip you more. Get the feel. Not bad, but not very good.
Hope you don't mind the critique, but I think you'll sound better for it.
Peace,
Adam.
