Hi, did anyone VH1 last night? Well there was this documentary called Queen-Legends and there were a few things I hadn't seen before like the award that Jonathan Ross presented to Queen for Best Band of The Eighties and lots of other things. I thought it was good. P.S Buying
Sheer Heart Attack,The Game or Jazz from Andy's Records on Friday!
No, I didn't see it. I live in the US and I'm sure nothing having to do with Queen was on our television.
I'd love to hear more about it though. thanks for sharing.
This has been on the U.S. version in the past, but not in quite some time. Our VH1 has become a joke. None of the regular old shows are on anymore except Behind The Music which seems to only be in a continuous rotation of P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg and TLC (2 versions).
So true deacon fan. I used to rather enjoy VH1 for while there but its gone more into the hip hop scene and stupid documentaries on anna nicole smith, jessica smith, and various braindead people
I was actually pleased for a while with VH1 when they ran I Love the 80's, I Love the 80's Strikes Back, and I Love the 70's. Those are great shows, even after you've seen them 100 times. And there was recently a Behind The Music on Aerosmith. That was good.
Now VH1 sucks. It's all Fabulous Life this, Fabulous Life that. I thought VH1 was about music? Same with MTV. Enough Newlyweds! As cute as the show is... it's just too much. These channels need to focus on what they were originally created to do-- provide us with music... not pimping our ride.
Yeah, things have changed with music channels. Not all, but the bigger ones. So sad... Btw, I originally saw the Legends show back in 1999 in AMERICA first. I patiently waited till 2002 before I saw it on UK television.
Peace,
Adam.
Always the UK is damn right. Why does VH1 assume that the English are smarter? Play fair.
I have seen Queen: Legends, though, and thought it was pretty funny. Especially the scene where Roger's dancing around in John's spotlight. I wish I'd taped it.
Vh1 Legends Queen is avalible on the queenhub for som time now (link and downloaded it too.
It's great and sad it ends, who didnt see they missed something.
