Is the reason I haven't been here for the past week, because I was too busy sunning on the beach (and getting sunburned) and touring Epcot to get online. And the Grand Floridian's net service was too expensive.
Dude, they've improved it a ton since I was last there. That Aerosmith coaster is somehing else. And their new flight simulator is like no coaster I've ever been on.
Anyone else been here in recent times? Good stories? Pictures of selves on Tower of Terror? God, I should have bought that.
I have pictures of my sister and I on the tower of terror, and the rock n roller coaster was the light of my life. I love disney world, that's my future honeymoon destination. :)
OHMYGOSH the Aerosmith coaster was the SHIT. It's a complete adrenaline rush, isn't it? With the music blaring and it going from 0-57 in 2.8 seconds (I checked on some website I searched out)... WOW.
It gave me quite the headache for the rest of the day but it was SO worth it!
And-- it was built in the shape of a Mickey head!!
You can keep your Disney World, with all its tat and unfathomably obese people.
Honeymoon destination, ^wicked^? Pah! Where is the romance?
If you came on honeymoon with me, petal - which I'm sure is a thought that will keep you awake tonight - we're off to the Andes supping wine and being taken by Sedan chair to Machu Picchu.
The only white knuckle ride you'd be sampling would be Flashman, and I wouldn't ask to see your pass. And the restraints would be strictly optional.
The romance would be having a quickie in their incredably clean bathrooms. Booyeah.
Actually, I don't think my love would go for that... it doesn't matter where we go as long as the inside of the hotel room is nice. lol

I went to Disney World in the early 90s...met Mickey Dolenz when I was there and of course had no idea who he was, but still.
I also managed to get Mickey and Tigger's autographs.
have never been... usually stick with disneylang... which i last went to 5 years ago...
however I DID manage to get my sorry ass over to tokyo disney land during the world cup, Im sure glad I did rather than go to roppongi with my friends and watch Mexico humiliate themselves...
THough having my japanese teacher wake me up the next day to say "No viva mexico for you Paroma-san" was kind of amusing.
I haven't been to Orlando since '96.
I was planning on going to Universal Studios, and Disney World again this summer, but to me the best time to go there is January. The wheather is pretty cool, and the lines are far more shorter than during the summer.
Advice to everyone - if you go, WDW will feed you a lot of PR about it. But do not, I repeat, DO NOT GO ON Mission: SPACE if you are ever planning to eat again. It is the only ride I have ever been on that provides you with sick bags, and this is for a good reason. It has massive G forces and spins like crazy. I almost puked all over the kid next to me in the Nirvana shirt.
