!!!!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!!!! (scroll down) link
After reading all your opinions about the matter and thinking about it myself, I decided to sell my collection of Queen mp3 concerts.
There are 24 discs all together. The price is 60€. The buyer will also pay for the shipping. I think that it would be better to send the discs without the case, just the CDs. I am selling the "original" CDs I burned, no copies will be made by me.
I have thought for long about how to sell these discs. One possibilty is to sell to the firts person who wants to buy (which is a little unfair to people who don't read this board every day). Another possibility would be an auction tht would last for one week.
Let me know what you think.
"I am now thinking of a price of 2 euros/disc."
Looks like you raised it, since by my calculations 24*2 is 48. 12 euros are quite an addition, and the price doesn't even include postage.
You missed the point in that topic, the whole idea was to cover the costs of the CDRs (and 2 euros a disc certainly covers the original price of the disc), since you got the concerts FOR FREE (and don't give me that "I paid for my internet" arguement again), but now it looks like you're just trying to make some profit... Anyway, I have already voiced my opinion in the original topic.
To be honest... if I was a beginner and bought 24 discs for 60 euro, I would be kissing Whisperer's feet the next two years. The price is very very low and I'm pretty sure there wil be tons of people who will fight to buy the CD's.
The CDs are now sold. I sold them to the first one who sent me an e-mail. The auction would have caused too much anger, since those discs could have been sold for a very high price.
Isn't the Atlanta 1975 show on top of the list in fact the Bradford '74 concert????
Anyway, 60€ is not very expensive for a beginner and if you're into MP3's. I remember when I started collecting bootlegs I payed 60€ for an original Gypsy Eye Bootleg. I still love it though :)
Penetration_Guru, is your offer still valid, I mean about your similar deal to buy mp3 collection??? I emailed you, but maybe you didnt notice my letter if you got hundreds of emails per day? Anyway, let me know.
"MP3 concerts with blanks between all the songs. How is this a good deal?"
To a beginner who doesn't care about little gaps between tracks, getting about 150 new concerts at once for that kind of price would be pretty amazing.
